Oron Information Thread

Dear supermokkori,

first of all this is not meant to be some sort of "only-pro-ORON" thread.
I am personally taking every input here very seriously and try to change things for the better. One thing ORON improved is for example the new 20gig download amount for 3 days. Another thing ORON did was to reduce the waiting-time in the past days. Also due to the new servers the upload- and download-speed for both free and premium users is much higher now.

Perhaps it's because I was simply too wordy in my previous reply post. So, let me simplify:

How have you improved the waiting times between downloads for free users? You and your company claim, and I quote:

"...we have also reduced the wait time between downloads for free users, making using ORON a much more comfortable and user friendly experience!"

As I stated above, when your company made this announcement early last week, I tested these supposed new improved wait times and saw no significant improvement than how it was before for free users. With your recent reply stating it has been improved in the past few days, I decided to give your company the benefit of the doubt and retest it again, using the same 250 MB file. I got the exact same result where I needed to wait an hour and 20 minutes for my next download. So again I ask - how is this exactly an improvement from how it was previously?

I commend your company on increasing to a 20GB download limit as well as supposedly increasing upload/download times. That wasn't my question and, as far as I'm concerned, any claim you and your company are making about the improvements in "reduced wait time between downloads for free users" are absolutely false.

Again, I'm not here to necessarily attack but I'm here to be critical about your service, especially if it's making false claims to areas of needed improvement just to deceive members.

How do we know you DON'T get that many e-mails a day? With the abysmall level of service you provide or rather don't :evil: I would'nt be supprised if it was 100k a day. For me and many other people I know and see on the forums I goto its IMPOSSABLE to d/l ANYTHING from oron. I know I've been trying for MONTHS on end to d/l even the smallest file and I have yet to even get a d/l link let alone get a file off oron :exhausted:.

Its seems to me you only want to address the problems that you have anything slightly positive to say about. You still have not acknowledged the fact that your price increased : Before: one month =9.95 US$, now 9.95 EUR, which equals 14.50 US$ . But you come here boasting that you have increased the cap to 20GB. Why is there even a cap when other prominent filehosts do not have it? Dont mention rapidshare as that is kinda history. How is someone suppose to fork out more money for a filehost when there is a cap. This is just nonsense.
And yes, Voldoo, your opinion does not really matter here does it as this thread is for members who have questions about Oron. Unless , you are a official representative of Oron, than i am mistaken. Unless you have questions on how to make this a better filehost or have problems with it, i dont see why your opinion matters here. Unless, they are paying you to do so or you are heavily invested in it, which I am sure you're not

So I'm as a JAV lover better will pay this 9.95 to oron for ONE mouth HIGH speed downloads that to order 1 DVD andalaugh: Not a good deal? For me - it is. So you think they should store a lot of shit on their expensive HDDs, pay for your traffic and share all for free? iripi: They should work only for some poor guys will jerk for free and thank them?

14.50 US$ is end of the world? You can download site rips where you have to pay 50$ per mouth, JAV dvds which cost 3000-6000 yens, music, new Hollywood films and much more ...and all for 14.50 US$ / mouth. If you are looking for something for free - it is as a free. Month as 1 breakfast's price :harp:

You probably remember when i began using HF people weren't happy, but the service improved, and downloaders adapted; now this is not happening with oron.
People can download from MU for free at an incredible speed, without limitations, and oron paying members cannot? WTF?
It's worse than rapidshare, which -at least- offers an amazing speed...

Unlike HF oron does not block masters who work with for years...I worked with HF for a long time, and they blocked my account because of 3 abuses for my western uploads. So what I have to do? Register a new account with those idiots? No way, I do not want to spend my time anymore. What's the difference for downloader who pay HF or oron? There is NO WAY to download JAV as a free user from both. IF pay member have low speed HE need to mail support@oron.com his login - that is all. I have 10 mb download speed with parallel downloads from oron, and I live in VERY poor country btw.

thousands dollars and 14$ is same for you?? everything has price, and this price is good for me. For example, yesterday I downloaded full site rip from oron in 3 hours, 1 month access at this site is worth $ 49, now I have ALL the archive, and still have my premium available for 29 more days.

Yes you can find that autocad for free download, but you cannot find that site rip or something like it.

sadly, in civilized world there are still laws; adapt or die.
when they'll close mine i'll find an alternative, but it certainly won't be oron.

Everybody know that, or you think ppl upload homemade amateur porn to sell from HF?))) 99.9% of ALL files on ANY file hoster are copyrighted to other ppl. So is it the reason to BLOCK an account? I do not mind of deleting files were abused, and never reupload them again. But my account was blocked because of 3 files uploaded in 2009. So my recommendation to you - leave this idiots before it will be to late, there is no warnings from them - just block and all. Yes, now they pay you good money, because there are no HF uploaders left around, but it is really risk to work with them now. Or do not upload western content at all.

I did not chose Oron, but I had to leave HF. It may surprise, but on JAV I earned much more with HF than with Oron now. But I appreciate my time. And when those who want all for free tell me how to work better or where should I upload - I get very nervous :study:

i'm glad i purchased oron premium two months ago. i mean, the price rises up from $19.95/3 mo to $24.95 to €24.95 = $35.99. Simple math tells us that it jumped by ($35.99-$19.95)/$19.95 = 80%!!! YOU are happy to switch to Euro, but not the customers!!!

as a reference, HF is $35 for SIX MONTHS!!
