Hello everyone, :)

lately I post very often in threads of newbies that they posted in the wrong section of the forum including the right section. Also I often remind people that they should put the movie code into the thread title if they post in one of the request sections.

It would be nice if there would be some kind of move & rename request button - like the report button.
In case of a rename request it should be possible to enter the new thread title.
And in case of a move request it should be possible to select the target section.
Mods and admin than just have to grant the request or refuse it.

Wouldn't that be a good idea?

would probably be a good idea.
but ... i'm not yet sure how to implement this. Especially since what you propose would be a pre-mod-action which is s.th. xenforo doesn't have (as well as vbulletin)
so we had to implement some in-betwee-stage, which could easly be missued.
what you are requestion isn't a simple task :)

I know that it isn't a simple task. ;) But it would be a nice feature as so many - specially new members - don't read the sticky threads, rules and so on.
Another idea would be standard text blocks which can be added so I don't have to type it each time. :D ;)
