My favourite at the moment is zedupload, free download (registered for free) can go at amazing 500kb/s and only 2 minute wait between downloads (can do simultaneously) and also uploader gets paid!

All the hassle that US gov is going through to stop copy right materials to be shared on-line is actually helping Japan's Porno industry to boost its popularity and profits that comes along. More and more people will now have at least one japanese porn on their hard drive and one by one will turn into otaku.

it's generally a lot safer than http or p2p. most providers offer 256bit ssl encryption. and 1 upload is accessible for everyone. and with a good provider (~10$ per month) you can download with 100mbit.
usenet is old but still kind of an underground thing and not very popular. it should keep this way, so i'm not advertising it too much. it has many benefits and it already has some jav, idol, mangas and so on that you can usually find here (ddl or torrent). and very few fakes as well.
this is an "asian" specific group.

hm, i am super satisfied with usenet. i cannot live without it anymore.
and i don't know about AllDebrid and Zevera. AllDebrid cost money, too. both services seem very suspecious. i also would like to know if the filehosters accept these services. in the end it seems that the services somehow "hack" premium accounts and share the accounts to their users.
i don't know how this works from a financial standpoint. whatever the case, i don't feel very secure there. especially AllDebrid who charge you for a service that seems highly illegal.
my assumption is that the whole ddl scene will go down pretty soon. megaupload was just the beginning. filesonic already heavily restricts file sharing and all other providers at least reacted somehow. this does not look very good.

i don't know if you are refering to usenet. if you do, in usenet you find both cen and unc content. you find pretty much anything there.
but there is no real japanese specific usenet scene. and i think thats a pity.

Yeah, because the censored section is not at all the biggest of the site.
What makes you think it has anything to do with the US? The company that makes most uncensored JAV requested akiba stop hosting their vids and akiba respect those requests.
Uncensored JAV from other companies will probably come back at some point, but for now it it's easier to ban everything.
Also, that's not the place to discuss this since it doesn't have anything to do with filehosts.

Let's call a spade, a spade here. If you ask the production companies that own all the clips posted here for permission none of them would allow Akiba to do it. If Akiba is fearing litigation then just host the site in a country that's outside the jurisdiction of where these companies are based.
