all threads marked read

Similar issue:

I also encountered this login screen after being away from the computer for several minutes. After logging back in all threads were now marked as read. In the previous AO unread threads were still unread, even if I logged out and logged back in a day later.

I did look through the Settings area to see if there was a stay connected time limit for the site. Couldn't find anything.

Oh, Win7 64bit Home Premium, Firefox 23.0.1

Would appreciate the Admins checking on this. Thanks.

Reported this also here: http://www.akiba-online.com/showthread.php?1216579-We-re-back&p=2338535&viewfull=1#post2338535
And I don't even logged off and in again. Just browsed a little bit and then it happened.

But I have to admit that I also face the totally opposite: Sometimes the thread and especially the forums keep being marked as unread. So I have to open them a few times until they are finally marked as read.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit Internet Explorer 10 and am running into similar issues such as having to repeatedly login, pages in a thread being stuck at the first page, etc..

I'm not sure if this will work but
  1. Try enabling the redirect domain whitelist and adding akiba-online.com. I think it defaults to whatever the board's url is set to (www.akiba-online.com).
  2. Try altering the cookie domain to just be ".akiba-online.com". The dot in front should make the cookie work for both akiba-online.com and www.akiba-online.com.
But doing so might break things for users who are already logged in (Like cookies from www overwriting cookies from the non-www domain and vice-versa). They'll have to clear their cookies and log back in again.
