Thx i aware about her twitter account that still active normally, maybe she just change studio? because i mention, there is no new video of her in july - august, and also she is not in the promotional poster for faleno activities in akihabara that will happen in july 2022
You asked if she's changing studios? If you know about her twitter, you probably know that the bio still says, "FALENO Exclusive" (FALENO専属).
You asked if she's taking a break? I tried to provide info reflecting her most recent activities. One other recent activity is how she's appearing on Amatsuka Moe's show, so that's more evidence suggesting she's still with Faleno.

I'm sorry if, by answering your questions, I actually missed out on telling you what you want to know.

Turns out this thread is called "Gossip", so it was my mistake to barge in here with only facts. Again, I apologize.

EDIT: Her manager's Twitter account posted about some new thing she's been filming for the last few days, asking her fans to "Look forward to it". Since normal AV are usually done in 2 days, this could be something bigger.

Glad I could help in the end. I know how worrying it can be when someone you're a fan of seems left out or overlooked, or is unusually quiet. I hope the thing she's working on now is satisfying when it comes. :)

Like tons of girls in the business. Porn is never a first path choice.
That's why I love freelancing girls who get into porn more willingly (arguably since you can say that having the choice, they wouldn't do that etc.).

There's this Nene Yoshitaka look alike (or maybe it's indeed her before becoming a pro) on webcam/livechat who run her show by often inviting various guys to have sex with her bareback in front of the cam. Lol it was wild but it was so long ago and obscure that I can't find any more recordings of her.

Freelancer or contract, it's the same. Contract just mean you work with one studio only.

twenie: scouting for JAV talent almost never happens anymore. Majority of those you see applied on their own.
That's interesting. I hope it's because being an AV actress is now a more acceptable profession, but I'm sure that it's not the reason.

What I meant by the opposite of freelancing is girls who are scouted then asked to sign a contract to bind them.
They aren't scouted with a gun though :D Most of the girls wouldn't reply to the dude or just say "no". Only girls who are desperate for quick money and/or "fame" (because they failed as a regular idol for example) would accept.

That's interesting. I hope it's because being an AV actress is now a more acceptable profession, but I'm sure that it's not the reason.
It will never be and it's just normal.

I don't think this been covered on Akiba, so...

愛上みお Aiue Mio debuted in Feb, made 3 titles with SOD, then converted to freelance and so far found offers to be few and far between. So she's retiring, claiming she lacks the determination to go all the way to prostitution so will retire and rethink her life. The part that makes it notable is: in her Twitter @Aiue_mio1she blames the lack of job offers on the newly passed AV protection law.

Is it the truth? Of course it's hard to say, like any attempt to blame inflation on any one factor. Because obviously other newbies are getting continuing job offers or contracts. Her sales records being mediocre (she's not pretending otherwise) is of course a factor. Did the AV law add burden to the studio's calculations and make her a sinker rather than a swimmer? May be, may be not.

What's definitely non-debatable is she's claiming the AV law for her misfortune, that's something. I also see no reason to doubt her words: that she's not (at least for now) staying in any parts of sex industry, therefore she has no self-serving reason to make AV law an excuse.

The way she's describing the sudden drop in job offers makes it seem likely. The speculation around the law is that it'll focus the studios on established actresses rather than flight risks.

When you said "converted to freelance", I thought you meant she went to FC2 or something. She still writes in her twitter bio that she's with a management agency; they probably just put her in some faux-amateur productions for extra work.

August 16, 2022: Arina Hashimoto 橋本 ありな has changed her name to Arina Arata 新 ありな (literally New Arina) and departing from Faleno to Moodyz. Her new title is SUPER STAR welcome back!! 大型移籍 新ありな 二ヶ月間密着 大禁欲・覚醒4本番スペシャル!!

midv192ps.jpg

The words "welcome back" highlights she was one of the original super star trios who was headhunted by Faleno out of S1 (which is together with Moodyz under the same umbella corporation CA). After exactly 2.5 years Arina is returning to CA.

Personal comment: I hope Moodyz will give her more interesting plots and roles to play as. She is very beautiful but S1 and Faleno both gave her such boring "planing" 企画. BLEH. Moodyz isn't hugely better than S1, but there's a little hope.

Welcome back! Now that she's in Moodyz, please do a bareback/creampie fan appreciation event!

Lol, I know that's not happening anymore these days, particularly with a such pretty actress. But a man can dream.

Come again?! AV actresses are literally the dictionary definition of prostitutes.

I like your comment here (Gave me a good laugh today) - it is kind of like if Charlie Manson announced he was through killing people because he did not want to be regarded as a murderer.

The new AV laws didn't help things, as studios will take much less risks in general. Before the laws, when costs and restrictions were lower, they would likely be willing to take flyers and fund more projects even if just to keep the ball rolling. Can certainly appreciate that angle, although it seems hardly the only issue here.

However, with her "prostitution" comment on the record, I would consider another related explanation - that the offers she was getting were too hardcore for her to handle, and didn't offer the financial compensation she felt she deserves.

Maybe she will go offline and become either a sugar baby or escort - She definitely needs the money and was clearly not getting what she wanted from the studios.

Obviously she is too stupid to understand the reach/scope of the definition of "prostitution", so she definitely isn't going back to school, lol.

Really what can be sadder than a prositute? An incel who will live a long sad virgin life, masturbating to porn and hating himself. But transfer the hate to women who produce the porn for his non-excuse to waste precious oxygen.
