Perfect image minorly affected. most fans probably know, but they don't want their fantasy to be broken. Some girls are like vanilla goddess/angel to them.
yet on twitter most girls always post pics of drinking, and going out heck a few talk about boyfriends they just don't name names, or show pics of there partners

^^ Don't see what's so news/gossip worthy about an actress smoking, and heck you even said it isn't a big deal in the east. Like seriously if the jav girl pure/idol whatever persona was a truly big thing for them, then 90% of there twitters would be gone

The thing is you don't see any image of the AV girls smoking, not even on film. (There's one of Sakura Mana, but it's for a release) So it's kind of a oddity for one to show up on an official twitter account.

I know real women swear, drink and smoke all the time but JAV idols are suppose to be the opposite perfect image of real women.

It's a cultural thing. Women drinking is more acceptable nowadays especially some needs to socialize if they're part timing as a hostess at some clubs. Also, casual drinking is seen as lifestyle if its pair up with food while smoking is deem as a bad habit.

Btw that photo looks like she's imitating a meme or a stereotype of poor blue collar Japanese man more than implying she's smoking for real.

In the context of the tweet, it's not one that her management will approve of. Her persona is one of a sweet and innocent type.

A sex tape of Fashion Model Ayana Miyamoto has leaked.
http://www.tokyokinky.com/sex-tape-leak-fashion-model-ayana-miyamoto-rapper-kohh/
News not about a AV actress, but she might heading there if this ruins her future:

For what it's worth I doubt it, she has too large of a following and it won't drop it that much, and she could always claim hacked or she was showing the world her cheating boyfriend, since her face doesn't appear in it, a lot of ways to spin it, might hurt a little short term, but not long term

28 year old ethic Korean Japanese former AV actress reflection on her life

https://mobile.twitter.com/qian01chun01

Her real name is Chiharu Kanai but she was previously known as Sana Anju and was active from 2008 - 2012

Her life story makes from good drama. Basically, she had been through being kidnapped, r***ing, swindled and a unwanted pregnancy. The details are better left for another day but traces are still on the net.

And now she admits to the rumours that she is an ethical Korean Japanese who had faced discriminations with a fury of tweets late yesterday night in respond to the latest crisis in her life.

As of time of this posting, the tweets are still up but she might delete them later. I do not have time to interprete all of them, but they make interesting reads.

Some note worthy points she made :-
1) Ethical Korean Japanese are in the entertainment and AV trade and they are being discriminated despite being born in Japan

2) There are ethical Koreans managing the entertainment and AV industry.

3) She doesn't like being Korean and Japanese and prefer being a Chinese, hence her account name. Possibly after the things she had gone through.

4) She regrets her time in AV due to her managment pushing her to be the next big thing. She wants the money but not the fame and in hind sight, she feels the money she had gotten wasn't enough for the things she had gotten in return. If anything, she rather be a lowly amateur.

5) She is aware that she had been doxxed but she will not deny she had done all those things years back. Though it brings her pain to search for her name on the net, she will shrugged everything off, just grateful that she is alive after everything.

I'm sorry in Japanese.

That's very generalizing. Some just want money, but their contract obligates them to appear at events and constantly update their social daily. There are a few I think was mihiro and yuma asami that was persuade to switch because her career as a gravure idol/singer isn't going anywhere. They would of left and might fallen in to depression, drugs, and regrets too if they're not making a lot during their prime and the peak of the av industry. Now they can enjoy what they wanted by using their fame as a stepping stone. The same with sora Aoi. Money can buy things that makes you happy and they probably gotten used to the negative discrimination from families and fans, so they're numb to it. Besides, If you're not an a lister then you'll probably not going to receive the same sort of fame and fortune. Also, the cast, crew, and agencies might treat you like shit too depending on who you're filming for. Some might need to film some degrading thing because they're bind to contracts. It's quick money now, but without money in the future might make them regret especially if they have kids or get expose at work. Although, there are some on the bandwagon trying to gain some publicity, money, or just find someone to rant at like the ongoing Hollywood scandals. LGBT, PC culture, liberals, and women equalities are good, but sometimes they become too arrogant, fake, and hypocritical.

A Japanese here, interesting. It's true that I know nothing about her apart from what she had posted on the net using various blog and twitter accounts through the years. She has courted controvsey before like disclosing her earnings, posting about her pregnancy and such.

I know that she had touched upon a sensitive subject on racial discrimination from the now deleted tweets. Just thought that it will shine on how things are in the industry that are seldom spoken about ( like are there koreans in AV, now we know)

I will interprete things as she paints it but I will not judge everything based on her views alone. It's up to each individual to decide.

He's talking about you deliberately exaggerate your translation
Once I said that in this very thread and now there is one more person who said the same thing :yellowcad:

Guilty as charge. I didn't really profess to be trained translator, you know. Just a interpreter to the best of my abilities.

Perhaps you might like to take over the job for the best ? :-

Well then I will third that sentiment. @jwlim80 your selection of what tweets and gossips to post here is highly selective. Everyday there are hundreds of tweets from JAV idols and a few more from studios etc. It's true you can't translate even 1 out of 100 tweets, but then your choice of which 1 to translate from the thousands is rather distorting.

And some of us have issue with not your skills/ability as translator, but the issue is you sensationalize almost every story that you repost or translate.

Back when I was more active on this thread, I try to be very careful about what is being translated/reposted vs. what is my view/opinion/speculation/interpretation of that story. Usually I put my own words in a separate post, and keep the post of translation/repost strictly literal.

It is not a translation problem.
Can you judge that what she is talking about is the fact?
Because this topic contains a lot of very sensitive things, I want you to be cautious.

I will interprete things as she paints it but I will not judge everything based on her views alone. It's up to each individual to decide.
And it's Too irresponsible.

not only in AV, in almost any other jobs if you don't have good connection and you start from the bottom you will be treat like shit too

you may say its very generalizing, obvious fact 99% of the girls who doing porn are looking for quick, easy & big money, they quickly sign the contract and regret later
