Is there even an incentive for JAV girls to enter the US business? Whatever stuff they did in Japan, they'd likely be required to do way more extreme stuff in the US if they ever want to be noticed, double anal, double vag etc., most mainstream JAV girls don't even do regular anal or maybe as a one-time thing here and there.

Then for most girls there's the language barrier, which is not the greatest thing to face if you're doing sex work.

Also, would the bulk of their (In most cases small.) western fanbase really follow them for their US endeavours? Maybe Hitomi, who seems to have a bigger fanbase in the west than Japan. (But who knows how that actually translates into sales.) これまで、ＡＶ出演について触れられていない、もしくはＡＶであることがわかりにくい内容の契約書が問題視されてきた。統一契約書には「ヌード撮影、性行為を伴うＡＶ撮影」と明記され、出演者は「何ら強制・欺罔（ぎもう）されることなく自らの意思で決意した」と認めた上で署名することになる。既に一部のプロダクションで使用を始めている。
　また、ギャラの“透明化”に踏み込んでいるのも特徴だ。ＡＶ業界では、女優が実際に受け取る額＝（１）とＡＶ制作会社からプロダクションに支払われる額＝（２）の比率などを開示しないのが通例とされてきたが、統一契約書では「（１）は（２）の〇〇％を下回ってはならない（※〇〇の数値はプロダクションが個別に設定）」「女優は（１）の根拠となる資料の開示を求められる」などとした。
　そのほか、撮影キャンセル時だけでなく、撮影後に女優が作品の販売・レンタル・配信停止を求めた際も本人に賠償請求しないことなどを盛り込んだ。
　ＡＶ女優のプロダクションを束ねる業界団体は存在しない状態が続いていたが、出演強要の社会問題化を受けて昨年４月に「日本プロダクション協会（ＪＰＧ）」が発足。有識者らによる第三者委員会「ＡＶ人権倫理機構」の監修を受けながら、契約のあり方を見直してきた。ＪＰＧには今月１５日現在、大小の２５社が加盟しており、４月から統一契約書を全社で導入する予定。ただ、基幹部分は統一しつつ、各プロダクションの事情に応じて個別に規定を設けることも認める方針だという。
