I think everyone is looking too much into this. She didnt want to do it, then she doesn't do it. The studio wants to paint japanese guys darker, so what? If it was that deep, then IR wouldn't exist in the capacity that it does now(3-5 releases a month) let alone 10+ years ago. Are there people in Japan that are prejudice, sure, it's like that everywhere especially in America where there is MORE diversity and MORE prejudice and I bet it's less prejudice in Japan. They were pretty downright racist against Asian men with moderators doing nothing about it or sometimes even joining the party.
They were absolutely pissed if White porn stars did JAV especially if she does not do black men.
Japanese racism in contrast is pretty tame though.

You guys do not know enough of the inside stories, what JAV stars said about her IR etc.
For instance Nomiya Satomi(Nonomiya Misato) said DASD-254 was her first and was going to be her last IR.
When a JAV star does IR for the first time the title usually contains 黒人解禁 which means she is "lifting her ban of black men".

Western porn may be racist but it is not Blacks who are the most negatively portrayed. It is Asian men.
Until about 5 years ago, Asian men did not get to fuck even Asian women in Western porn.
In these movies they were usually short men with glasses and were only allowed to masturbate while Black or White men were fucking their Asian wives.

Theres a difference between "preferences" and " i would never do anything with a black guy because of color of their skin. Saying you prefer a type of woman is different from the exclusion of a type of woman because of surface features. Thats literally what discrimination is.

There is no basis to hold Japanese to a higher moral standard because they don't owe Blacks anything unlike Whites do.

Except that unlike in Western porn where the only reason Asian guys are there is to be humiliated and ridiculed, Japanese are not so inclined to humiliate White guys. I don't know why. If I were they I would love to humiliate them.

You cannot use a few anecdotes to project on an entire race of people. By doing so, aren't YOU being prejudice? There are nearly 50,000,000 Black people in the U.S. alone. Are you going to seriously tell us that you know for a FACT that most of them are ""quite racist on the street"? How does that work?

Also if Websters defines racism as "a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles" then how are Black people being systemically racist in the U.S. towards ANYONE? What part of the government, medical, housing, banking, agricultural, water, military, etc. industries do Black people have the majority of the power and systemically oppress anyone?
