If you close one eye it is true, you lose the 3D effect. But at least you don't see the double image when the girl kisses you.

The autofocus of HereSphere fixes some double image defects, but it is not magic. Among other things, because when the girl gets too close to the camera and you can't focus it's not a defect of VR, it's a defect of your eyes. In real life, when something is too close you don't focus either....

Is there any decent maki hojo vr out there?? i just watched juvr-140.. with both maki h and maki t... disappointed.. too many clothes..no lesbian

It is a tragedy, but no. JUVR-140 is the best with Maki Hojo and, as you say, it is a total disappointment: a lot of clothes, camera far away, little sex and far away.... The typical mediocrity of Madonna VR, who has no idea of how to shoot VRs, although incomprehensibly has released some jewels, like JUVR-099 or JUVR-123.

If you like Yumi Kazama, JUVR-099 is AWESOME, with the camera close, full nudes, and face-to-face sex scenes:

I don't understand how they haven't made one just like it but with Maki Hojo and Maki Tomoda. It's a disgrace because someday they will retire and we won't have any good VRs with them....

I have seen the shower scene of yumi kazama and yeah very good compared to most juvr.. i should get the final scene. Maki Hojo is one of my favorites in 2d it will be tragic if she doesnt do a good vr before retiring. As it is i am very sad that most of my favorite jav models retired before vr was popular, would have loved to have seen minako uchida or nachi kurosawa in vr

Being new to vr.. i struggle with many things. I got sidequest up and running thanks to youtube. i have installed heresphere and am grateful for the detailed hue saturation adjustment. Sadly i cannot get it to find my smb share.. and really believe it needs a mini control interface for volume.. time slider .. and next track as a minimum. a full page interface ruins the experience a little

Are there any HereSphere users here?

For me its one of the best pieces of software in years. With the release of the Quest2 version i was finally able to ditch Pigasus.

Having my whole library with thumbnails, tags and search function in the player is just amazing. Scraping all my movies&mathcing them with that r18 scraper in XBVR was a lot of work though.

Other than that the customizations in this player are huge, so it could be quite overwhelming. Luckily JAV are mostly alligned pretty well, so i mostly just do some general settings.

1. Set IPD
Either set it to autodetect or select the IPD manually

2. Set the IPD of the camera
Western VRporn is mostly filmed with Zcam K1/K2 so the IPD of these cameras is 65mm. Japanese studios on the other hand are using 2 cameras (Panasonic GH5S) they are aligned and synced (behind the scene can be found here

). Due to that the IPD of these cameras is bigger therefore make people appear a bit smaller in JAV.
The cameras IPD can be set in HeresSphere by setting the Camera Stereo Alignment - Right value. Its preset to 6.5.
I was trying to figure out what the correct camera IPD settings in JAV movies is. That stereo rig used has a minimum ipd of 75mm, while measuring the Panasonic GH5s by high quality photos, for this set the IPD is around 78/79mm. So i usually set the value to 7.5 and gradually increase in case it doesnt look right (.>too small).

3. Color corrections
For me having colors that look "real" do a lot to me to improve immersion. I find that most of the JAV are oversaturated with the skin look almost red. In Pigasus i was mostly reducing the saturation a lot. For me the skin color was looking much more realistic, but somehow it led to all colors looking flat.

Fortunately Heresphere allows more in depth adjustment of the colors. This screenshot is from the SteamVR release, unfortunately a lot of these adjustments are not possible on the quest.

Instead of reducing the overall saturation of the colors (Saturation A) i was playing with the 'Saturation R' value. Unfortunately i leds easily to the skins looking a little greenish. I would be happy to hear from somebody who could give me some guidance on the color settings

i tried minor adjustments on Gamma G ... 0.98 it seemed to fixed the green skin issue but again made it a little red.. i think overall it was an improvement from the original

To be honest i have purchased vr content from R18... it was for me wasted money. Although the streaming player was better than most with zoom capability and some other features it was still useless compared to players like deo and skybox. you need to make the source files downloadable to be played anywhere on any device. why is it that you cannot just download an mp4 and play it on your oculus?

There are quite a few titles I want on R18, but I've heard nothing good...unfortunately I haven't seen a trace of them anywhere else.

I bought some videos from Afesta, unfortunately they only work with their player as well. I guess a lot don't require it, just my bad luck i guess, I'm a little gun shy now though.

I've checked some filejoker-ish sites, unfortunately several of the titles are skipped. I tried asking if it was a thing with whoever ripped them or if it was their content choice, no answer though.

you can play stereoscopic 3d in your vr headset..works better than 3d tv. Please let me know if you find a source. I dont think it is her best work.. but anything yuma asami is a collectible in my opinion

Unfortunately scraping is a bit of work. I recommend joining the Discord Channel from XBVR. There are some scripts workaround to reduce the workload, but still then JAV have to be matched manually.
I did do it manually and even though my library is pretty big it just costed me a couple of hours on the weekend. I had most of my library organized with javinizer before though, so files were mostly matched easier.
(Also recommend Bulk Rename Utility for that). For me it was definitely worth doing it, once done, adding new scenes just takes couple of minutes. And Heresphere does support Multiparts (something i havent found a DLNA properly working with, and you can sort by metadata, rate scenes, search scenes and filter by releasedate.

Were you finally able to get it to access your SMB share? I don't think it will automatically find them on your network. At least when I tried Heresphere, I had to manually add the IP and share name with user credentials.

thanks for checking..but no.. i found zoom too slow.. and full screen interface annoying.. i think heresphere is great but still needs to improve..like every player. If skybox or pigasus would include some of the fine tuning that heresphere has .. we would have a perfect player. I downloaded pigasus and no issues with smb so im sticking with that.. even though the zoom still relies on opening an interface first

It's 100% a gimmick, but a sexy one. It's 96% the model, that 4% sweat is frosting on the cake.

Honestly walle12's suggestion is spot on. Close one eye. Why you ask? Well, try opening both eyes when you kiss a real girl and you'll see it's not strictly a technology problem.

I am curious as to everyone's perspective on this topic. Do you believe that the AV industry in Japan is shifting to VR centered releases? If so, when do you expect it to overtake regular (non VR) releases? Does anybody know the breakdown? I remember hearing pre VR, roughly 10,000 titles would be released each year. Im curious if there are more released now, or if it is roughly the same, but with VR eating up a good portion of the releases.
