yeah i liked it. it was my favorite among the more recent gundams and i liked how they went back to having more bulky looking gundams the old series' instead of really sleek looking ones.
but still, i'm also getting kinda tired of the gundam series. although there's a new plotline and new characters in every series, each one still has very similar similar key points in making the story what it is.
1. the main character is always either the loner type whose family gets killed while they were young and has always been badass or he starts off in a happy family in the beginning of the series and then they get owned by enemies and that becomes his reason for piloting a gundam.
2. there's always an enemy, not necessarily the main character's rival but there's always someone who starts out normal and pretty badass but ends up getting his ass kicked and returns later on in the series when you think he's died under a new name wearing a mask and won't show his face even when he's alone even though the whole audience who the fuck he is haha
3. One of the characters that you like and get attached to will definitely die. Even if it is fictional, it would be completely unrealistic to think that a few "special" gundam pilots will kick ass and survive throughout the entire war. so you can get your tissues ready and expect that one of your favorite characters will die.
4. i think this is the most annoying one. the main character is ALWAYS the good guy. no matter how bad he might seem to the rest of the world in the beginning, his faction will always end up winning and the rest of the world we'll see how he's such a great guy and how hard he worked for the sake of mankind. Even if the victory doesn't result in immediate peace, it always ends making you think, "ahh, it's definitely gonna be peaceful since they won". I think it's pretty annoying since you pretty much know already how it's gonna end
for once, i wish they would have the main character be a real badass villain with an all black or dark gundam instead of the usual bright colors for the main gundam.
