This World Cup is really horrible now. Masses of fucking goalkeepers and much more masses of really fucking referees. And the quality of the games... This is really no fun any more.

i agree with you teddy its the worst world cup in the history

there are no goals in matches,a ton of yellow cards so far,the referees sucks and ruin the game, everyone is playing defense instead of offense

its seems that players couldnt care less since they get paid a lot but arent motivated to play for their country

And the biggest disappointment is France. OMG, what happened to this team? And now Anelka got fired for offending the coach.

france aint that disappointing since they have raymond domenech as the coach

that guy is advantage to all other countries since he cant form a tactic with the high caliber of players at his disposal and he didnt even called nasri and benzema what an idiot

ever since he is the coach france sucked majorly

shame for anelka he is a good player. i laughed when the commentator every 5 minutes mentioned his goal drought

The Kiwi 'keeper is farking awesome though!!

All Whites ranked how many places behind the World Champs??

I'll say it again; Soccer will continue to be considered a shit sport until they can sort out the diving and other assorted endemic cheating!

7-0 is pretty brutal. I missed the Brazil vs. Ivory Coast game yesterday because I was hanging out with my dad on Father's Day. When I found out the score (3-1), I told my dad about it, and he said something along the lines of:

Well, these European teams probably don't want to or can't humiliate the African teams too much. So they win comfortably but they hold themselves back. They don't play aggressively and turn it into 4-0, 5-0, 6-0 games.

Well, Dad may have been right, but if so, I guess it means that Portugal has zero qualms about squashing the North Koreans. Because they totally did.

7-0 is both the highest score I've ever heard of a single team achieving (7 points!?) as well as the biggest gap in scores between teams I've ever heard of before (again, 7 points!?). Part of me is like "Wow, that's amazing!" But a bigger part of me is like, "Wow, Portugal, you guys don't have as much class as the Brazilians do. :|" If Brazil had wanted to score 4, 5, 6, 7 goals on the Ivory Coast, I believe that they could have. But they held back. Out of politeness. So as to not totally shame or embarrass the Ivory Coastmen.

Portugal, though ... no qualms. You don't score seven goals in 90 minutes without really wanting to.

Kudos to Portugal for their skill, but boo to Portugal for their lack of self-restraint. :|

well if i was the coach i would go for 11:0

if i am not mistaken australia scored 31 goals against american samoa in 2000 or 2001 cant really remember the year but i think it was that score

brazil doesnt have a player like the old fat ronaldo that could score amazing goals and provide in quantity and they play nice

i dont get it when a country doesnt want to demolish another country by a high scoring game i would be pissed if someone was holding back while playing against me (as i often do in street soccer)

anyway i hope to see more games like this
