For sure Minako Komukai, i think she is the most famous celeb turn to av so far
I downloaded Minako Komukai recently, I didn't realize she was famous before JAV. Seems like she has mental and drug problems. Hopefully she does not end up like Aya Makinoda.

It's more of a combination of over indulgence in food, contraceptive pills and a devil may care attitude towards the maintainace of the figure. But the main contributing factor are the pills, that is why you see a lot of retiring girls bulge up.
I don't know how many of them use birth control pills since most av actors use condoms and some of the uncensored creampies can be fake too. I remember abigaile Johnson did said she took some when she film amwf titles. It's probably the combination of not excercising, bad diet(drinking+smoking), bad sleeping habit, and excessive partying that speed up their aging. Hibiki Otsuki and yui hatano got good genetics during their debut and slim down their baby fat & reach their peak in the middle of their career. Nowadays, they're sagging. Yui hatano really overwork since she films half a dozen of different fetish titles for a variety of studios each month. Not to mention she needs to attend monthly av event, sing for her idol group, and appear/film for other private and public events/ads in Taiwan a lot. I don't know how many av idols take other drugs too like Risa coda and Nozomi Aso or got sick from filming either physically or mentally. Filming in L.A and Tokyo isn't entirely safe from stds. I still see reports of ex-pornstars gotten HIV and hvp.

The one I downloaded of Minako was AVOP-009, and she was already getting thick there too. I am the same age as her and I am finding it harder to keep weight down even though I eat the same as before, so maybe age is a factor too.
Changing the topic a little, didn't you guys notice the market for former entertaiment stars is sorta slow at the moment?

Yui hatano said she did av because there were too much competition in gravure idolings + low pay and strict guideline to follow if you're a minor member of a huge group like akb or ske. However, nowadays there are a lot of competition in av and low pay as well. You need a decent popularity and look as a fallen idol in order to become a popular av idol. Not every fallen idol will be as popular as shoko and yua mikami. They get good pays because they get a lot of outside opportunities like yui hatano that goes to Taiwan and other countries like half a dozen times a year. Av pay isn't as good as what mihiro said in her interview with abematv nowadays unless you're the one of the best sellers. Some av idols if not most probably get a lot of gifts from fans and wealthy businessmen like yuria satomi offscreen in private. Drugs and escorts are pretty big and some top av idols probably charge a big figure for their body once in a while.
It's a good thing to those that can't have them or any hot girls to finally see them naked in order to satisfy their lewd fantasies. It might be a bad thing to some of her loyal fans, people that knows them in private like family, friends from school, and more. Av isn't a lifetime career and they'll need to get a real job if they can't achieve higher fame and used av as a stepping stone to something greater. I'm still interested in seeing shoko and mikami demonstrate their music talent in av, but probably never since they're signed to vanilla studios and only film vanilla movie titles. I don't want one like ai uehara doing karaoke though.
maybe a little bit, most of AV are slow at the moment, while for ex idols turn to AV are not very big since the beginning ? lot of rumours but only few that became reality

so true, thats the main reason I don't really care about japanese celebrities turn to porn, most of them are not very hot ... some of them are far below standart I think, and horrible skills ... obvious reason to ignore them

most of entertaintment bussiness can't be a lifetime career, especially in modern days
