Any REAL celebrities turned to JAV in Japan?

So here is a case study of a borderline fake celeb. SSNI-528 starring ひなたまりん Marin Hinata a "Entertainer, Model, Dancer, and active in multi-media".

S1 is arguably THE top studio, they make a splash about a celeb debutante. She does look more than decent, even a little bit haafu. Fine but what's her celeb credential beyond S1's rather vague "everything and nothing" blurb?

Well I am no detective, so I went straight to Playno1 for a quick check, sure he got buzz. Seems JAV fans were just as mystified, initially. No one could ID her and figure out her pre-AV career. After some keyboard-sluething some fans finally figured it out. Turns out she made first public appearance way back in 2012 as a 菊池みいる. She was a "Reader model", meaning a girl could send photos of herself to magazines in the hope the mag would print them. It's possible she was then taken up as a financially-compensated magazine model for a while. Then indeed she was a dancer for a short time. And then settled into a career in sex trade. She was a bar hostess, a handjob girl and escort. Finally she announced on her IG that she's quitting as escort to "do something big (with her career)" which turns out to be JAV.

So bottomline she is a sex worker who at the very beginning had invested a minimal effort to be in some public media. Now that's all it takes for S1 to promote as a celeb-AV debut? Not just I am skeptical, playno1 reports that the Japanese fandom is crying foul too.

So conclusion is there are really 50 shades of celebs. Some are much more legit than others. Think how does the Yua Mikami feel about sharing a release date with this skanky celeb.

So anyone has seen her vid yet? It's already dropped a few days ago.

Is the labe MUTEKI still active in the business?
They were the main celebrity source for JAV.
 
Muteki only release when they have something, not regularly. I guess no celebs have turned to porn lately.
 
S1 has a new release SSNI-715 from a new (to them?) actress named Miu Nakamura.

Title/description seems to indicate they are saying she is a celebrity. Anybody know what her claim to fame is before this?

She was a gravure idol who also did some TV stuff. She made her AV debut with Muteki a few years ago, and then about a year later did her first nakadashi movie and started a proper AV career.

thats cool you met her. On one message board there were screenshots of her old twitter that talked a lot about av and had what looked like a av style headshot. It was all wiped clean but I guess now some of the vids are being found. still 2 more vids from fc2 that were deleted.
 
I'm no expert on the matter, but I read somewhere that Ichika Nagano from STARS-087 had a pop career? Her first couple of vids are smokin'.

Thanks for the link, found another of her videos which is KAO22, someone said there's one more out there. Shame about the mask but nice that it's not censored so that's a great bonus.

looks like she was signed to an agency and had professional shots done for marketing and even had a name to debut on av. But it never happened. these videos were shot before that so maybe she wanted to hide identity before the debut or it was one of those pre-debut test shoots that the producer sold later on. It's still illegal to sell uncensored so this wasnt anything official.

Thank you for your opinion. King Reina really good at boxing. So it has no doubt the girl of those videos is her? I really wonder does it impact her career? She has really good talent cause saw her fight just wow!

I think they were all wearing these masks in that series.

I wasn't sure it was her to start with but after seeing her silver teeth were in the right positions and also the mark on her shoulder it was a great surprise. Always enjoyed her fights and her character. Has anyone found the third video that was mentioned, I looked through all the KAO videos but couldn't find anything.
