That must be those cases when they get married or have a jealous boyfriend or their family finds out? I've heard of that talked about on Akiba as well. Wasn't there a thread somewhere around here that talked about titles that are no longer available? That is my reasoning (at times) for grabbing anything I can. But...it does become taxing on the old storage capacity.

There's legal and illegal content. While R18 might remove a movie, once it got posted online somewhere you can probably get it. Very little is forever gone.

The problem is finding somebody who have a specific title and is willing to share it.

As an example, does anyone have titles dating back to 2002 ? Like Aoi Sora's debut piece ?

I have titles dating back to the 80s. Not many, but a few

I know that was just an example, but what is the code for that debut title? In case someone reading this actually has it.

That's some major storage if folks have titles dating back to 2002 and the 80's!
 
update got new harddrives so now up to 18 tb,out of 30 total tb going studio by studio now, plus i have 3tb of american/euro stuff

Perhaps that is a bad example for a challenge. How about finding something like Ai Iijima's videos ?

An unauthorise re-release of her old 90s titles was out in the market for a while in 2002 before it was pull off by her lawyer. Anyone manage to rip and dump it on the net during that short window ?

Again, any codes you know of? This isn't directed at you (well...maybe 2%) but I love it when people ask if anyone has or knows where to fine "a video", "a movie", "any titles" of someone but don't themselves offer much information to help find things.

i do archiving for my favorite actresses only... more or less 20 names as of the moment... all other "files" are immediately disposed of if i don't really dig the av idol

currently have 2x 3TB passport drives full of them...

Pulled all these out of a 2500 yen Fukubukuro . Looking at their unsealed state, it's most likely those are 2nd hand copies or ex-rental releases that they can't get rid of. But can't complain at 500 yen a piece with the girl looking cute at least .

The online retailer that I bought from just treat them as normal films and ship them as such through EMS.

Sorry. I'm not sure if they are playing dumb or just plain ignorant about what they are shipping. So I'm not going to mention this outright in an open forum to compromise them. And I also do not really know enough about you.
