That was an excellent post, KKJJD. We are lucky you finally decided upon hooking up with Akiba-Online, as you are not just JAV but all-around porn connoisseur.
You brought up some wonderful Western contenders with a JAV-like feel. Unfortunately, of course, so many stop short of the mark.
I recall I was excited when I first learned of the Innocent High series, thinking finally... a porn series which focuses on getting the girls under a barrel. I was at a loss with Bookworm Bitches... after digging, I realized that was the alternate name for Naughty Bookworms. (The name I knew this series by.) I was excited with this series as well, and yes, there were a few that delivered. Yet again, an overall disappointment; the fact that the series is from the mainstream porn company, NAUGHTY AMERICA, is telling. (You distinguished most from the "original" ones, and I'm sure I have the older episodes. Maybe I'm too dismissive, expecting too much... If they were as realistic as you evaluated, they may be worth a second look. Overall, what I remember is that they missed the mark often.)

While trying to figure out this unfamiliar name ("Bookworm Bitches"), one of the clues that came up in a search was an episode featuring Dani Woodward on Xvideos. While watching the first few minutes, I felt impressed. Dani was doing a very good job ad-libbing, in a realistic way. I agree with everything you said, realism is a nightmare to find in the US productions. Even clipsforsale stuff, like Cory Chase (better, Molly Jane), only gets 80% of the way there. Again and again America gets close but fails at JAV genres.
Bookworm Bitches is from Naughty America but at the time online stuff was booming, like original Bang Bus stuff, Backroom Facials and then crazy stuff like Sweet Auditions. I agree with everything you said, realism is a nightmare to find in the US productions. Even clipsforsale stuff, like Cory Chase (better, Molly Jane), only gets 80% of the way there. Again and again America gets close but fails at JAV genres.

KKJJD: interviews for KINK titles aren't mandatory, but KINK just adds them to show that everything's "OK". I can't imagine these interviews would ever hold up in court if the actress decided to 180 and sue for being in a production she decided she wants no part in anymore (for this, they use pretty detailed consent forms & contracts). More than anything, I feel like the interviews are just more of a fan service than anything legally salient.
