Video caps on a mac

It's a pretty standard requirement when posting a video to include screen shots/grabs/caps from the video.

On a lot of them I see "Media Player Classic" at the top, but some of them don't have that.

Media player classic isn't available for OSX :(

Does anyone know of software that produces these kind of video caps on a mac?

try using "Screen grapper"

Start the prog and load a movie:


now go to preferences:


There you can set resolution, collums and rows and format.


if you finished the configuration close this windows and click on Capture



that should be all ^^
Now you have a thumbnail of the movie.


Normal Screenshots should be possible with e.g. QuickTime - or any other player of your choice
