You're going to regret a few of them based on my experience. And then you gonna find yourself having difficult to find some of them which sucks. But most of it you won't even miss.

What I do know is, even with my ignorance of these movies, I feel so sad they are all gone. I am envious of, and am so impressed by, Casshern2, who has such a cast-iron stomach and guts of steel. I would have been a pantywaist in the same situation, still clinging to the porn I had downloaded long ago, you know, the porn I will probably never watch again.

I actually deleted all but a select few (I couldn't give up) of mine recently only because I received DMCA notices I didn't know about followed by an internet suspension due to that. That's when I decided I was done with western porn, and that it's not worth the trouble. It was about 100 GB or so, and I filled it up quickly with JAVs afterwards.
This time around (I've deleted tons of JAV before as you know) it didn't take much courage. Not sure why. It was rather a quick sudden decision while seeing what was taking up space here and there. Regret? A little. There were some nice looking ladies.

I will delete some movies that I don't like it, but I will not delete movies that I like, and I have a lot of western porn that I like, so I will keep it, or if I need the HDD space I will move those movies into another media (other HDD, FD or burn it to dvd)
I have burned 2(two) thousand plus DVDs throughout the years (since early 2000's ) with tons of porn among other things and now I even want to touch any. For one, the releases back then were not HD, lack ATM, anal etc. And two: my taste have changed a bit with time and those things are not as arousing as the stuff I watch now.
probably getting them from torrents? it's been known to happen with some ISPs
but yeah on topic, it's a very tough decision i'll say delete what you know you can easily get back again first then go from there, because sometimes you end up deleting stuff you have a hard time finding again! for example, a lot of Brazzers "harder" and psp stuff, right before they purged those videos, it took a while tracking most of those down again
Use Peerblock next time you torrent. If the torrent client has IP filter, use that too.
But generally it is safer to download directly from a website than using torrents or other P2P.
I asked myself this question when I started watching JAV. Before, I was a fan of several US actresses but the N°1 for me was Rachel Starr. I had almost all her videos classified by year folders (around 70 Gb, there were scenes so less bigger than full movies like in JAV). I liked busty girls at that time but when I got into JAV (and japanese culture in general) my tastes changed completely. So I deleted all my vids (I recorded my action of deleting the US porn folder to show it to a friend haha because I knew he would not believe me). I just kept 6 vids (2 of Jenaveve Jolie, 1 of Jenna Haze, 1 of Cassie Young, 1 of Vanessa Blue and 1 of Lorena Sanchez). I dont regret it at all.
Maybe keep some of them, for example the first one you downloaded. For me, the scene of Jenna Haze reminds me my first masturbation completely naked in my room behind my computer and alone with my lil brother at home. yes along the time our taste can change, but for me after few years I might miss those movies, and want to watch it again, so better not delete them
its not only with porn, mainstream movies too, I keep my dvds after watched it, so I can watch it again few months or years later
