1. Yuuna Shiina. Just boring boring boring.
2. Julia. Same as above.
3. Nao Jinguji. almost madonna exclusive same expressions gets old and her nipples gone too dark.
Underrated
Sachiko. Don't know full name. Pretty face and one of the best pair of boobs and nipples. Natural look too, not like today's plastic faces.

Sachiko was one of the first stars I loved when I understood the JAV game. I consider her the best B+ tier actress at the time. I just didn't like when they tried to make her too young especially after she did a milf video lol . Back then movies just came out back-to-back. She didn't have the body or face for that, example of that is the second picture
Some stuff we could debate here, gathering from all the threads I remember on this forum are (and I'll express these as my opinions on these topics):
Japanese customers are ruining JAV by wanting the youngest girls possible, not giving a lot of chance to those older ones — or quickly losing interest for those who stay in JAV for long (thus, JAV becomes like a conveyor belt, with the "goods" on it having very short shelf life)
This, combined with the trend toward digital isolation of JAV (meaning that only the Japanese get to decide what JAV should look like) is discriminatory towards all those interested in Japan (no matter the reason, even if it's porn) and thus contradicts the Japan's overt "openness to foreigners" (there are a lot of examples of such contradictions, but this is one of them): we cannot easily buy JAV and thus cannot influence, with our demand, what we would like to see
Not enough information for foreigners on JAV stars being available for escort etc.! Again, Japan is still very... apprehensive (to use a mild word) of foreigners in terms of anything that comes to letting them into a lot of places that are not for tourists (hot springs are another example, and yes, you could say that it's usually because of tattoos, and there is a reason why tattoos are historically frowned upon in Japan... but hey, there were historical reasons for the US to buy slaves... but they don't anymore... so... what's the difference really? Isn't it discrimination by skin pigments?), including brothels; I totally understand that if you cannot ask people to speak your language, but what about those who speak Japanese well enough? They would likely still not be let into most such places as they are not Japanese or at least not Japanese-looking... and I'm not sure how to feel about that... Yes, you cannot make people have sex with those they don't want to, "even" for money... but if that's about the rest of the whole f...ing world... I think that smells like discrimination again
This all could be argued the same way: hey, it's Japan, it's for Japanese people, let them do what they want. But again (if we're being jerks and generalizing), Japan seems to want to have its cake and eat it too (keep the old ways in the new world), which means it is either a hypocrite (wanting all the good things about capitalism and democracy, wanting to sell its image around the world via anime, and manga, and electronics, and so on — but, at the same time, wanting to remain isolated), or it's confused. I think it's the latter, but it's still f...ing annoying sometimes (and I'm writing all of this just to vent mostly; there are more aspects to this, obviously, as can be seen in the discussion here, for example; it could be easily argued that it's a third option: wanting to balance isolation and openness... which is basically what we all do... but that's not an interesting stance for debates)
Reading this, I must say that I have read posts from Japanese actress Twitter/ X about their mood and behavior.
This could be truth that Japanese actresses are not interested to communicate with Western people/men.
I have posted here in forum earlier about AV Idol Yuko Shiraki - copy from that post -

Yuko Shiraki is a married wife. Marriage - 15 years ...
In happy marriage with husband who seems to be a mannered person.
Three years ago, 2022 - I found on her Twitter page info, (entertainments/events list) -
about - other means - how to have nice time with her. (she at this time - 45 years old)
All events - highly paid.
The highest priced entertainment/event was a two-days journey
with her and her agent to Hot Springs Inn for a single person.
Price of event - 500 000 JPY. (Close to 5000 USD.)
Her agent is - her loving husband.
No Sex, no sexual behavior - only onsen visit, bath/basin with underwear on. No Foreigners allowed /only for Japanese man or woman/

You see - work is work, she performs dutifully in movies, just as movie director had ordered.
Now, this entertainment/events is not work, it's private business - here she rules herself - who can and who can not!

One thing about porn and Jav is i love the interviews, and one thing I learn is that women dont rule themselves, they have more control now, but alot are under lock and key. They dont even run thier own Twitter accounts.

Thanks for the insight. I hate to sound harsh, not to you or anyone, but like some Japanese men and foreign men
they are delusional to believe JAV is something more than business.
As for that 2 day journey, anyone pay near to that price in JPY or US money, I guarantee can do more.
And with loving husband...err, agent consent. Most likely he would like to participate in a way
Advertising won't allow you to say you can go all in.

Could be... if you are able, per example pay 1 MIL JPY (about 10 000 USD).
Wise people say - it's not always about the money > it's about the AMOUNT of money...

To be fair, in my country, many people are very suspicious of foreigners that don't look like them (basically like in Japan, you can get a pass if you're Asian and you have great Japanese; you can just take on a Japanese alias, and many won't even suspect you're not Japanese)
In any case, I do see this as "mundanely hypocritical": as it's been mentioned already, many of these "purists" would do almost anything for money, and of course, it's their choice what they agree and don't agree to do in specific circumstances, but they can't expect not to be ridiculed for that if it deserves ridicule, and if enough people do it, it becomes a negative stereotype (fucking and sucking black men on camera — OK, fucking and sucking anyone besides Japanese men not on camera — NOT OK... ri-i-ight, very consistent)
Again, everyone is free to do whatever they want as long as it's not against another's freedom. But by the same rule, I'm then free to form a perception of Japanese people as hypocrites (or at least inconsistent in their cultural exchange behavior) if I see it enough. And I'm not just talking about JAV. I've spoken with dozens of Japanese people online, and I would say that their confusion between being a global nation and remaining isolated is quite common (e.g. posting positively about kamikaze on Chinese social media and then defending Japanese actions during WWII, etc.; just to clarify, China was one of the Allies)
P.S. Actually, if you try and take more nuances into account, it seems even less justifiable / more confused — but it also explains why I'm so baited by it. I'll hide that under a spoiler just because of the volume...
One of the big reasons I started learning Japanese was the image, and it was very different from the West: Buddhism, bushido, yamato nadeshiko, the writing system, the customs, the manners... So, I studied it a lot, and frankly, the more I studied, the more some bits of the culture frustrated me (like driving yourself to overwork suicide because the culture teaches you gaman)
One of the big "dynamic duos" in Japan is uchi (our circle) and soto (outside), and it might explain this behavior a lot: porn is work, so, we treat it differently, as if we're not ourselves (keigo supports that perception: you literally humble yourself in front of customers; if you read Feynman, for example, he didn't like this approach, and I can see why)
Another big pair is honne (actual feelings) vs. tatemae (facade), so, one might argue that this behavior is just an example of that: what I do for work doesn't matter, and even if I suck a bunch of guys whom I wouldn't want anything to do in real life, hey, it's soto, and it's tatemae, and everybody does it (which explains a lot of shouganai and drinking — because it comes close to doublethink and living two lives at the same time)
Japan is also a "harmony-focused" culture, which sounds good on paper, but in reality, leads to unresolved conflict bottling up and huge misunderstandings from outside, when foreigners believe that Japanese people actually don't mind if they don't say they mind (which multiple streamers and rude tourists take advantage of); this conflict avoidance essentially creates bubbles even within the culture (yakuza not allowed into public baths, etc.)
So, this can also be explained just by "trying to avoid conflict" ("we don't want to create a situation where foreigners, since they don't understand the culture, might overstep the boundaries; it would be too much work to try and explain to them how our culture works... and after all, they can't really get it"), but it actually deepens misunderstanding and conflict, because it can also be seen as condescending ("gaijin monkeys not allowed, and we won't explain why because gaijin monkeys can't really understand our Japanese way to begin with", which reminds one of nihonjinron etc.)
And this is not unique to Japan. America deems itself the leader of the free world, with the biggest prison system in the world. Russia goes on and on about the "unfathomable Russian soul", etc. Still, a naive fella like me was tricked by Japan for a long time, tricked into thinking that there are still dignity of the samurai and the refined air of geishas, who you should not confuse with a prostitute. So, seeing the real picture creates this contrast that is great fuel for fantasies ("yeah, take that, you arrogant Japanese bitch... remained isolated for centuries, but you won't isolate yourself from my dick if the price is right...")
And still, neither of the explanations above justifies what she is doing (even if it's ingrained into the culture, because the culture itself can be seen as not resolving any conflicts by trying to avoid them; she just wants for foreigners to leave her alone... without explaining why, while fucking them for money, and explicitly banning them from "private" events... well, how do you expect it to be seen? we're foreigners, we can't read the air, as you say... and even then, you would rather be perceived as a stuck-up hypocrite than try to explain... OK, then that's how it will keep going)
To be fair again, I did meet quite a few Japanese people who took their time and explained a lot of the cultural aspects to me; and yes, I agree, it would take time to explain, and maybe some would not still accept the cultural difference. Still, I think that just saying "it's because we said so" is the words approach you can take

I get what you're saying a lot. But it's a lot to read.
I think like many cultures, outsides/foreigners can just be arrogant and/or too lazy to understand. Even with the best of intentions.
I know I won't understand much of anything unless I took the effort and time and even then I have to be open I still don't get it.
The biggest misconception of JAV and porn is customers/consumers/ regular folks believing what they see on camera is real.
Even to this day, they still believe crempies are real. Despite the fact, that part of JAV is long over. It is very, very rare.
