I've gotten chance to watch the video and I think she does pass for a loli, maybe just barely.

But I dont think accepting something as loli based on what it says on the label is a good way to approach it. I've seen far too many videos labeled "cum" that have barely any cum play. Or movies labeled "big dick" only to see the male actors severely lacking. Likewise, videos that say "loli" in the title or tag that have actresses who look too grown or mature.


Actually using personal preference to try and skew the thread is exactly what I hate. I've noticed in a lot of the other threads people blatantly ignoring the topic and spamming a list of their favorite actresses, then coming up with farfetched reasoning as to why its just to include them.

Which is why I think it's important to have a definition that is measurable and quantifiable; unfortunately simply defining loli as "little girl" or "young girl" is subject to some personal preference. I've found that height is the easiest way to set a limit, albeit a soft limit, on what qualifies as loli. As height diverges above from this soft limit one should become more mindful of the fact that the actress might be falling into the shoujo "young woman" category instead; it's in this range that you have to start considering things like body proportions (arm, leg, and torso length, breast and hip size, hand and feet size), hairstyle, shaved, the youthfulness of their face and skin, and marketing, etc.

Which is also why I'm curious: which <140cm girls are not loli to you?

Anyway, to make things simpler (or maybe not) when in doubt just ask yourself this: does the girl look more like a young girl or a young woman?
I haven't seen KAWD-741 yet but based on the cover she most certainly looks like a young woman to me. That's not that to say she is not pretty or anything like that it's just that she doesn't give me the same feeling that a loli would. Feel free to discuss them, I think most people who like lolis are also into the shoujo type as well given that the two categories are adjacent to each other and in many cases overlapping.

Studios sometimes use misleading labels, but it is a far more objective standard than arbitrary judging the proportions of certain girls, like "long torso". Miko Hanyu may be an actress that does mostly loli now, but her debut for Prestige is not a loli JAV. Her makeup, clothing etc. the style it was shot in was not loli, and Prestige didn't market it as such. Perhaps she didn't want to become a loli star just because she is short, I don't know. It wasn't until later that she did loli videos.

Your example isn't very good either. A bad "cum" movie that features almost no cum is still a cum movie. It is just a bad example of one, you have a spectrum of quality and that is worthy of discussion. Just like some comedy movies are not funny. Or some dramas may be unintentionally funny, so if we we're discussing comedies we could discuss them. The marketed genre of a film however makes it if nothing else, at least that.

It's literally the opposite of applying personal preference, as I am not the one who labeled it loli. Kawaii did, and they rarely label a video loli that is not loli. All of the other girls from Kawaii sold under loli are listed in your thread.


As for which mini actresses I was talking about...

There is a reason that they are usually marketed under mini rather than loli. I don't want to overly insult anyone's taste. But quite a few of them look like dwarves in their mid-thirties rather than "lolis". They are stocky with short legs, extremely wide hips for their size, rough faces, and broad dwarvish shoulders. I don't find dwarves to be attractive, I like Warwick Davis just not in that way. But that's just my opinion though, and I'm not going to say someone else can't consider them loli especially because they sometimes are marketed that way.

Also if someone says Tsubomi is a loli, Natsume Ari, or even Uehara Ai I'd say sure whatever they've sold loli JAV before. The difference I guess for me is that just because an actress does a loli film doesn't in my opinion make them "always loli". I don't think of Sora Shiina as a loli anymore.

Yes it does, because you are just arbitrarily saying she isn't a loli. At the most your view should be weighed equally to Kawaii's.

No one is truly a loli either. They are actresses playing a role, and some of them play other roles. There are tons of examples of that I've given aside from Miko Hanyu. Like Shiina Sora, or as you pointed out Mio Ooshima.

But even if you want to say they "embody the ideal of a loli", then there is really nothing objective to say against her as evidence she isn't a loli. She absolutely is more a loli than half this thread. She is shorter than many that are included, she weighs a lot less than many of them, she is smaller in every way. Long torso is also a poor excuse, if we are talking proportions many girls listed here have longer torsos.

I don't think she has a long torso, btw. I mean it isn't as compact as some girls sure, but she has legs to match.




If we go just by height you have Erika Yamaguchi. I don't think that's fair. Sure she is shorter, but they both have long torsos (I would say hers is quite a bit longer in comparison with her legs).

Shinosaki Mio prepared for her role as a loli by bathing in milk her entire life, and living an innocent, cloistered life in preparation for this debut. (sarcasm)

Erika Yamaguchi has a much "longer torso" simply because she is a dwarf. Specifically, she was born with achondroplasia or disproportionate dwarfism. That said I take back what I said about dwarves, I am attracted to her. I just prefer the other type of loli.

I use my eyes when identifying a loli and not if a studio labeled something as loli. I would have a pretty crappy JAV collection if I downloaded everything these studios call loli (especially Kawaii, who mostly put out garbage). I noticed alot of studios factor in the theme of the video when deciding to label the video as loli, and not if the girl actually fits the loli profile.

Things that define loli...

1. Height (taller than 150cm makes loli status questionable)
2. Short Limbs (shuna for example has a long torso but her legs are short so her overall height is still only 147cm)
3. Breast Size (anything over an A cup makes loli status questionable).

Then subjectively 3 other factors...

4. Face has to have a certain cute quality (mio for example does not have this look, not ugly but has a mature woman's face)
5. Shallow ribcage
6. Little or no pubic hair!

For people who are easily fooled by height alone. Put a wig on Warwick Davis, I'm not sure you could tell the difference.

I'm the same way. I've been guilty of wanting to check stats of actresses to confirm their "loliness", however some of my favorite loli actresses of all time have been over 150cm. Minami Ogura, my fav of all time, clocks in at 156cm!



I think a lot of what "loli" is comes from submissiveness and cuteness. Size does play a part, however I've definitely seen some girls who clock in at 150cm or so that I didn't enjoy their movies because they didn't play the loli part well enough. Those girls I'd more fit under the "mini-kei" tag, as opposed to the "loli-kei" tag.
