I've been watching the late night J-series called Minna Esper Dayo! In it, there's this guy who is obsessed with Tenga and keeps saying how great it is and how it feels better than a vagina.

All that talk has me thinking I should get a Tenga to try. Anyone here have one? I'm thinking of getting the Deep Throat one because the Flip Hole one is out of my price range.

Should I buy the lube at the same time as well or is it not needed?

Heat up a 3/4cup of oil (olive oil works for the best lubrication, especially extra-virgin, that way it's physically tighter) in the microwave. Heat it for 7 minutes, then pour it into your tenga. If you heat it for 3 or 4 minutes, it's just not warm.
