Space is a constant problem, I've got 3x 2tb drives and I feel like I've never got enough room on any of them. I go through different phases of downloading more than I can watch then spending a while sorting through what I've got. Screenshots help me decide what to download, I hate it when you see stuff on the cover which is nowhere to be found in the movie.

I'm always shifting things from one drive to another as I streamline my folder organisation. Once I've watched stuff I either shift it to a watched sub folder within a category or if it's not worth keeping shift it to a dumper folder which I'll empty when I'm needing the space freed up.

jav-watcher, I've yet to stick to a method of sorting. It's my biggest fault. I have a 2TB and a 1TB where I keep HD stuff and another 500GB where I keep SD titles. Not to mention the 750GB of space used on my PC's HDD. The only thing I truly have cataloged in any way is the SD drive.

The sorting is also my problem and reason why I'm working on a program for it. It would be much nicer if I could put the files just somewhere, a program would index them and I could manage them in the program.
It's like the file server many companies had - and still have - and a DMS system. On the file server you had to organize your things somehow. But half of the time you get problems because you only can sort them one way (e.g. main category, category) and not in various ways. In a document management system you you have them in no special order, but you can search them by various criteria, tag them, bookmark them and so on.

I don't sort my hdd,s that much
Porn i sort by actress (139GB)
Idol videos by models (69 models, biggest modelfolder is 120GB and 1,38TB total and growing fast)
FHD movies by Western, classics, sci-fi and the rest (lots and lots of Terrabytes)
I just checked my Utorrent statistics and this month i transferred 1,8TB (i seed 2x-5x and lately 10x)
Don't know how much i downloaded from Usenet but i think it will be about 5-10TB a month maybe more (i don't keep al the series and movies i watch)
The data comes in faster than I can sort
I tried a few index programs but they don't seem to recognize idol movies
Currently i have 122Gb unsorted in my Utorrent folder and 235GB in another folder unsorted

Sometimes i will download a blu-ray movie and when i transfer the folder to my FHD folder i realize i already have the movie in that folder

But if i run out of space i'll just buy another 4TB HDD or use the 3 1TB HDD,s i have wich are not in 1 of my computers or my 640GB external drive i use when i must use some files on the go
