I wasn't aware this dumb idea is an ongoing series, but sure I agree it's S1 being S1 boring. I wasn't making a clear distinction between her, her agent or her studio. Perhaps even all three were not independent sentient beings, who knows. Maybe they are all just enslaved to the demands of the marketplace.
I don't care about the decision-making mechanics, I am just both excited and disappointed with Rion. Rion, not the actress, not the human being, just Rion as the main character in a number of AV's bearing that image and that name. Excited because Rion has Goddess figure, almost like Hitomi but the teats are less outrageous and saggy, almost like Anri Okita but prettier face. But disappointed because the vids are so boring. Some great sex scenes, have to say. But after 5+ all-sex vids, we need some production value and some variety. And need to say again, she's not so young, with those humongous teats, age will be unkind.
I like this movie series as it gives a chance to see the actresses in a more relaxed state. Though the 'romance' is fake, it's good to see them enjoying themselves away from the bedroom as it gives us a chance to see more of their personality. Just seeing the actresses having a good time on these 'dates', and when they do eventually get down to sex, it makes them so much more intimate, having seen what led up to it.
It would be great to know what is being said to fully understand the relationship and it has been suggested that we should translate one of the earlier movies from the series, but perhaps this could be a better movie to start with.

Everything you said sounds good on paper, but using the first 60+ minutes of a 4 hour film on some crazy fake hidden camera pickup setup is nuts nuts nuts. Sure I don't understand a word of the conversation but I'm 90% it won't make much sense even when translated. Especially look at the pre-scene of the last scene, the location is an obvious porn shot.
How can it be a personal relationship if the sex happens under professional lighting? The only good thing to say is that it's so convenient to just delete the first 64 minutes of the vid and make this a much smaller file and a better film. I am totally sick of fake hidden camera. Like i said, having the sixty minutes of build up is one of the main selling points of this movie. It gives the impression that this is an actual romance, and not just a flash in a pan thing like you get in many hook up movies.
Obviously, knowing what is being said would be such a crucial factor in this movie and so i can understand your frustrations. Without the dialogue, the build up loses a lot of it's meaning but i still find it nice just to watch the actresses in a more relaxed manner and just hanging out. Now i haven't watched SNIS-824 yet but previous movies in the series have all followed the same pattern, so i feel i already know what this movie is going to be like.
My major concern is whether Rion can actually pull off managing to appear as though she is being filmed secretly. Her performance and acting normally isn't very good but i'm hoping that being in a more relaxed type of movie where she is being asked to simply be herself would help the issue. As you say, her major draw is her looks but that only go so far. I'm not the biggest Rion fan and have only seen a handful of her movies so i haven't got 'tired' of her yet but it would be nice if her performance could match her looks.
As for the movie itself, i wouldn't say the premise is entirely at fault. Yes, it's a bit of a dick move to seduce a woman simply to sell the secretly filmed footage, but that seems to be a bit of a norm in JAV. Not saying that makes it right but it does give it that extra 'taboo' factor. I don't understand why they would show the lighting rigging though. Surely, that just breaks all illusion that this is all being filmed secretly. Was it a 'behind the scenes' scene that was tacked on at the end, or was it genuinely part of the movie? Remember she is meant to be playing herself, so maybe this was just her being in her day job.
I'm completely with you on the matter of her looking like she is enjoying herself more, and a smile does go a long way, but i have to disagree with you on the point that she should dress 'more sexy'. The whole point is that this movie is meant to represent her in a more realistic fashion, and so having her dresses as she would be in normally just makes sense. If she was in a tank top and mini skirt, she would just be dressed as in a regular JAV movie.
This is a DISCUSSION thread. If all you want to do is 'watch , fap and gtfo' then feel free to do so but there's no need to criticise those that are here to express their views given that that is the entire point of this thread.

Sure I can get the concept. I can't name specific vids, but I have seen more than a few that fulfill that idea. Not a straight up meaningless pickup sex for fan service (the famous fap and gtfo fanbase), but either a (perhaps one-sided) romance between a man and woman or a plain seduction on a non-slut non-easy woman.
