I received a friendship request yesterday and went to accept it and I received the attached anomaly (see attached screenshot). I've not installed anything new nor have I accepted any patches or upgrades since I last interfaced with the Friends & Contacts page. Am I the only one seeing this? If so I'll dig deeper but I thought first I'd see if this were happening to others.

Thank you for your time!

The response headers (which might be responsible for this type of error) sent to your browser are exactly the same when clicking on an incoming friendship request as when clicking on any other PHP page. So I don't know what to say, it's probably an IE bug.

Try restarting your browser.
Try disabling browser add-ons.
Try getting to your buddylist through your User CP instead.
Try a better browser like FireFox.

This is the link for the buddylist page that is displaying the file download prompt mentioned in the first post:

http://www.akiba-online.com/forum/profile.php?do=buddylist

This is the link to "Edit Signature" (which works fine):
http://www.akiba-online.com/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature

This is the link to "View Group List" (which also works fine):
http://www.akiba-online.com/forum/group.php?do=grouplist

And all other PHP pages at this site and other sites work.

Try restarting your browser.
Done... many times

Try disabling browser add-ons.
Done... no effect

Try getting to your buddylist through your User CP instead.
Done... tried from all routs available, no success

Try a better browser like FireFox.
This seem like walking away from a problem without exercising due diligence (the "ouch, my brain hurts approach")

I'll figure it out and let you know
