Yeah... With the delay and huge difficulty launching it, and now not just one but two top studio bailing out on them, it would seem more business-wise to just quit altogether.
But hey one of my favs getting triple fucked anal unbanned is EPIC. She gets my vote for grand prize! And ... thinking back... certainly AVOP 2017 didn't have a single vid that can compete with this. And even counting all the way back to first AVOP, IMHO this vid would rank in tops amongst all the best AVOP releases.

All entries dropped almost 2 weeks ago and no one seems interested to talk about any of it? When I search for a thread to post, I found dedicated threads for "AV Open 2017" ... 2016, 2015 and 2014 (1st) but for this year, only this one titled "No AV Open this year?" hah very appropriate.
So far I've only downloaded -404 and -415. -415 is four fat ladies in several 2p, 3p and 5p (?) scenes, not very remarkable, if anything, it only push those four actresses down to the bottom of my list of busty/hottie idols. They are getting too fat for my taste.
-404 is only other vid that got my interest. The actresses are reasonably hot (but pushing my age limit) and it's a multi-idol title pushing up the baseline score. But the clincher is it's in Chinese! The title is full Chinese (even not totally embarrassing Japanese-Chinese, it's passable as only slightly awkward Chinese) and the cover promise full Chinese dialogue. On the entire front and back cover, except for a bit (probably) legally required info at the bottom, is written in all kanji, no hiragana or katakana. Japanese fans would likely be confused by the full kanji version of Hibiki Otsuki, Erika Kitagawa and Marie Tachibana.
The cover and promo text says roughly: "Friendly advice to foreign tourists visiting Japan: everything you've seen on SOD vids are real, there are many sluts in Tokyo, video guide to find and interact with them"
OMG this has political incorrect and cultural inappropriation written all over it. LOL
The vid opens with star of the day: Rin Nakatani 本庄鈴 who got this role, I assume because she is most willing (and/or capable?) to "speak" Chinese. So indeed, it seems the entire vid is spoken Chinese, with plenty of Japanese subtitle. The subtitle is a lifesaver. Despite Chinese is my first language, and I've never learned Japanese in my life. It's still easier to follow the story from looking at the subtitle than to listen to them speak Chinese.
The pre-open scene had Rin Nakatani explain that everyone is "learning" Chinese for the first time (there are cuts of idols holding thick scripts and whiteboard with big phonetic transliteration (katakana) for Chinese words) and the pronunciation might be off also it's an reenactment of "true" story of tourists encounters in Japan, with various slight exaggerations. This point was reinforced with graphics pasted at beginning of each sex scene claim the scene is based on true stories.
Actually who is the target audience for this vid? Taiwan is the only non-meaningless market for JAV. But I'm skeptical TW market is big enough even for a once-in-a-lifetime rare event like a Chinese-language JAV. Hong Kong is also kinda-legal to sell JAV, but HK legit JAV market is very tiny and anyway HK fans won't feel any special interest for non-Cantonese vids. Singapore is illegal for porn so zero market. Same for China, actually it's worse because this vid will certainly be pirated much more because of language and historic burden.
So scene 1: Rin Nakatani react a train chikan scene. The viewer (you) plays a tourist visiting Japan. You was taking a train in Japan for the first time, notices a woman (Rin) was being molested by a chikan, so you went up and grab the chikan's arm to rescue the poor Rin. Rin said to you "I'am sorry... are you Chinese?" ... ... blah blah off scene narrator explains sometimes the victim of train molestation might be a slut who enjoy being molested. In that case, the rescuer (you) might have to step up and give her the satisfaction of being molested and fucked in a crowded train.
Scene 2: mixed gender hot spring 3P. ...
Scene 3: magic mirror bus 3P ...
Scene 4: restaurant (with a CA) 2P
Scene 5: SOD office 8P (7 SOD idols)
The whole thing is an absolute laugh. I get a huge kick out of it but it's actually not very fappilicious. The main star Rin Nakatani is not at all hot she had a ton of cosmetic on her face and she still look like a cheap prostitute with 20 years of street walking behind her. The selection of the 7 idols are not the most exciting idols but those who are willing/able to play the scenes in Chinese. Basically think of American actors learning Klingons on Star Trek movies.
The hottest idols are the biggest names: Yui Hatano and Hibiki Otsuki in their magic mirror bus scene. But the Yui-Hibiki pairing has been seen so many times recently this one is not at all special. Scene 2 the hot spring scene with two idols. One is both flat-chested and ugly, quite rare combination in JAV. The other girl is not anti-erectionary, that's all I can say.
So ... hmm... know what, so far I had not ejaculated watching AVOP-404 yet, when I watch it, I spend so much effort following the spoken words (and subtitle) and overthinking the political/culture incorrectness that I never got to orgasm. I suspect this vid would throw so many people off that it might have the same effect on many fans.
One thing that surprised me is that I found nothing disrespectful to foreigners (pointedly Chinese... the subtitle says "外国人" but the meaning is clearly "Chinese" and when you listen to Rin, she said "崋人" (ethnic Chinese) several times. With Japan-China relation pretty shaky and especially JAV's difficulty mostly blamed on Chinese piracy, I'm surprised SOD come with such a nutty idea in the first place and had nothing insensitive or critical to Chinese in the whole vid.
If anything the vid kind of encourage foreigner/Chinese to seek opportunity with Japanese women. As far as I am concerned, the whole vid is a big joke, in fact, I have no illusion that SOD actually made it for Chinese viewers. But still would it never happen that some idiot saw this vid and think he could try feeling up so ass on a crowded train? Who can say?
