I propose to use this thread to provide rips taken from the Nicovideo website. This website is like Youtube but only for japanese. Well in principle...:thief:

You can find all kind of videos there, dancing girls, videogames walkthroughs, poopsongs, etc. There are also lots of anime to be found. Not your weekly dose of Naruto or Bleach, but many anime which disappeared from the video market. Many OVA series and movies didn't make it to the DVD medium, and were considered as lost, until now. If we don't find a rip from the old analog media, there is still a chance that crazy japs have uploaded them on Nicovideo.

I will provide some uploads based on what is found there, with a "streaming" quality, so many videos are 320x240, sometimes 512x384, and the container is FLV (flash video). If the episode is longer than 25-30 mn, the file is split in two parts. I tried to join the parts if possible, there can be some issues with audio/video sync.

First is a one-shot OVA called "Shiritsu Tantei Toki Shozo Trouble Note Hard & Loose" or "Hard & Loose" in short, some detective story, with nice graphics, it includes at least a (short) sex scene. Not enough to make it a hentai. Released only on VHS by Columbia Video.

Next upload goes to a one-shot OVA with dark/demonic themes.
It's called Demon Hunter Makaryudo. Our Demon Hunter is a pretty girl and is rather powerful, I would even say too powerful. Nevertheless I wish they made more episodes on the same setting. Published on VHS and LD by C.Moon (a Bandai label).

Koiko no Mainichi would also be a nice find in manga, I think. Heck, the manga seems to be almost as rare as the manga of Pink no Curtain, even though it's available in ebookjapan. Both George Akyama's manga are relatively difficult to find in comparison with their live-action counterparts.

A TV special (those are even rarer than OVAs). Curiously enough, there appears to be a LD-rip floating around in both Share and Winny.

Hidari no O'Clock

Adapted from a manga made by Shintani Kaoru (Buttobi CPU, Cleopatra DC, Area 88), two OVAs about youngsters and motorbikes. For some reason the nicovideo guy made it like four episodes, but it is really two episodes made of two stories each. Released on VHS and LD by Tokuma Japan.

This time we have a TV Special, similar to the Sekai Meisaku (World Masterpiece Theater) series. Adapted from the famous novel "White Fang" written by Jack London. I don't know how accurate it is, but it looks interesting.

A full-length feature (85 mins) based on Kazuo Umezu's slapstick-manga of the same name. Makoto-chan is one of the forefathers of Shin-chan, only that this movie is even cruder and more perverted than Shin-chan. :exhausted:

Quality is very low unfortunately, but AFAIK it's the only version available. (The animation isn't that great though, so it should be okay I think)
