JavLuv JAV Browser

Those with the 3 numbers at the beginning are usually MG Stage specific codes(those 3 number represent the manufacturer since the same code can happen on many of them) and not the actual movie code, which makes it really hard to search since no database include those codes.

The problem is the extreme laziness of the people ripping the movies and using that code instead of the correct one, it would be hard to fix(would require detecting that and ignoring them) since some actual codes do start with numbers, even though they are more rare.

is there a way to make it so thumbnail won't all be like hhd800.webp? Also all the 300MIUM, 390JNT, LUXU are unsearchable on the net?
There are a lot of series` that do not get registered in JAVluv because when it tries to scrape sites for data there is no data available for these videos. Fc2-ppv, Caribbean.com, Mium... Luxu. etc. There are a bunch of them. When Javluv is doing a scan it will search online for cover data and .nfo data but if the remote sites, like javlibrary, don't list them then Javluv has no data to add. Here's a workaround. Seperate these non-scanable files into a seperate folder (you can move them back when you are done) In the settings for javluv look for : Scanning, under that is an option to: Generate metatdata from local file... Click that. I also click: Use movie filename as title. Now, in your folder that has 'unscannable files' either manually go and download the covers (You can find them by searching for the code on Google/images) Or, what i do is mass-create thumbnails of each file that is unscannable with a thumbnail program (ezthumb) is a good, free, thumbnail program. Create thumbnails for all of the files or go and manually download them and put them into the same folder as your files. Now, when you scan with javluv it will first look online to try to find cover and .nfo data but when it fails to find it it will fall back to your local files and the cover images that you have provided to it. Then it will create an entry in your javluv database with your image as the referance cover image. If you are inclined to do more you can then edit the .nfo information from within javluv, just go to that video and manually enter what information that you have. It sounds like a lot but it is pretty easy especially when you do it all in one big grooup. One the data is entered into javluv you can now use the move feature to move the files back to where you want them. One last little detail. some of the unscannable files have peculiar naming structure that doesn't follow the traditional 'ABC-123' or ABCD-12345, so JAVluv will ignore those too, so if you are having trouble getting some files to get noticed, it may be the structure. Your file may be named, 1234bob-sss-ww This structure may confuse Javluv. I've noticed this with some, oddly not all, Caribbean.com videos that may be named Caribbean.com-1233453-004. If you have that issue I suggest renaming, before you create the thumbnail, to CARIB-1233453-004 or something like that. Sorry for this very long post.
