DDDDDDDD = a stand-in for the name of the actual channel
NNNNN = a stand-in for the name I use on IRC
The client I attempted to use was the one built into my Firefox, ChatZilla, that I installed a long time ago. I have no clue why it would be a banworthy offense to use ChatZilla. I received no prior warning. And most confusing of all, the website heartily welcomes people to join their IRC channel for chatting and links to it!
So I guess what I would like to know is,
(1) Why was I auto-banned? Is it really because of the "Disallowed Client"? If so, what should I replace ChatZilla with?
(2) What was I banned from? The channel? The server? (Rizon)
(3) When will the ban expire? How can I find out? Can I contact the channel ops when I am banned from the channel? (No, I do not know what their names would even be. I was signing in for the very first time.)
