I'm wondering how to buy VR videos on DMM/R18. It looks like only the Japanese version of the website gives access to the PC downloadable versions (so that it can be viewed on a real VR headset). R18.com looks to sell only mobile protected versions.

How do you get videos for PC from these sites when your not in Japan?

I finally ordered an Oculus Go. There was a promo during the last few days (black friday, cyber monday) so I bought the 64Gb version.

Nice! I'm reeeeaaally contemplating doing the same, but, I don't have the issue of my phone heating up in use with my Gear VR because I rarely have enough me time to have anything play long enough for it to theoretically heat up.

Just find out what the codes are for most of them and you can download a lot through torrents. For example search for 3DSVR etc. All Japanese videos have these codes you can easily search for.

most i need are on filehosts. and there are ether 0 seeds on torrents for them or they are not there. + Gravure VR only on filehosts

My Galaxy S6 Edge + can't play the 4K files, so I couldn't watch most of new movies. Plus, I wanted something without a phone and I was really thinking about the Oculus Quest too, but on Reddit, a guy said the video quality is the same so, as I don't want t play VR games yet, it wouldn't worth paying 450 euros.... I did that with my phone (smaller files, as it was a smaller resolution). The movies are then stored on my NAS.

See that's my rub. My phone can handle the 4K files, but, I'm not liking the storage/filesize cost of it.

SOD Create and KMP are now on SLR.

We're processing hundreds of titles in the back-end by them and other makers so expect regular updates.

As noted earlier in this thread, unlike other VR sites, SLR simply doesn't take the data handed to them and puts it online, but will remaster titles to ensure they look even better.

I'm not sure if that's a compliment or a complaint, Casshern.

Biggest issue with JAV VR we've seen is that they're shooting just too darn close and rarely going over 4K because of DMM restrictions (they'll sometimes shoot higher, but trash the 4K+ masters after editing).

A big offender would be the cowgirl position when you can only see the girl's face down to her belly button without having to move your head.
You should be able to see some of the penetration as well from the 'default' view.

SLR helping JAV potentially shoot != helping them shoot western-style porn, but to just ensure they're camera, lighting, and studio setup is done to ensure their VR output looks fantastic. Not creative help, technical help.

No. If you see her full body, it is too far away. In real sex you don't see the full body if the girl is next to you... And the penetration is not that important in JAV, it is censored...

I don't like western VR porn because they film too far away. They film VR as standard films on a TV. This is VR. You need to feel the girls with you, not to see them two meters away, like I see on western VR porn...

I hope western porn ideas don't contaminate JAV VR porn... They'll destroy it.

This isn’t a favor to the JAV studios, let’s first make that clear. No matter what anyone thinks or says, SLR is in this for the business, which means, they’re in it for the money, the licensing. SLR is a Western outfit, they will at some point if they haven’t already give advice or guidance on how Western audiences want to experience VR. Make no mistake, it is unavoidable. In order for SLR to make any gains with JAV VR through them, things will change for those studios. IMO it is the worst thing that can happen to them. I’m just hopeful there aren’t many more that follow.

Sure, it will start with technical help. But, you get a group of guys and girls in the same industry from different regions together and ideas start to mingle. Next thing you know it will be like watching a completely Western VR title, just with JAV actresses.
