LOL, Casshern you seem to be upset. Relax, I think there is a bit of a misunderstanding. I'm okay if you hate me, think im a leech, think im ungrateful, and want everything for free and dont share. I dont think you are right, but you are free to feel however you like.
First, lets start this off by quoting the start of the post you are referring to.
First I would like to start this post off by saying, thank you to all that take the time to contribute to this thread. That goes to the people that are sharing files, news, opinions, torrent links, tidbits, and generally making it easier for us to enjoy VR.
I hope I'm showing respect for all the people who are contributing to this thread. I know I learn from everyone who has differing views from mine, has differing equipment from mine, has different experiences from mine, and has differing tastes from mine. I am not the all knowing VR god. I'm just someone who is experiencing this new technology and loving it, just like everyone here.
If I say I like medium boobs, I'm simply stating my preference. Just like Maschi loves big boobs. I am not saying "medium boobs are the best, and all you who like big and tiny boobs are crazy". Don't go reading in what's not there.
Just like when PSVR and Oculus users share their experiences, you share your GearVR, and I share my Daydream experiences. I'm not saying mine is better than yours. If I say I'm not having problems with Zoom, its to let people know that there is a world where you can Zoom without distortion. We are all here to share VR information so we can enjoy ourselves and find what we like.
Second, I come here for fun and interest. I've stated that the way I contribute to the thread is by sharing news about upcoming titles, and anything I'm excited for, interesting girls that maybe some of you would like. I would hope the people reading my posts are excited and can feel my enthusiasm for VR (maybe i get too excited because I'm so happy that VR is awesome).
Third, you seem to specifically be upset because I called AVOPVR-009, "stolen encoded crap". I did not mean to offend you.
a) I did not post "Casshern stole this video", "Casshern did a crap encode of this video", "Casshern posted this crap and is wasting my time", "I hate all JAV VR quality and these videos are crap", "why isnt this all free, gimme gimme gimme", "I hate all harem movies". If I did this, you are right to accuse me of being a disrespectful ungrateful leech.
So let me explain what I meant.
b) DMM by using their own proprietary player and encode, forces people to STEAL their content, if its going to be posted anywhere outside of DMM. Afesta on the other hand is DRM free, I buy with my money and can enjoy it easily.
c) DMM by using their own proprietary player forces people to strip the DRM, screen capture it manually, or re-encode it. I dont know how they do it. Some of these encodes are good/great/awesome. Some of these have been really bad (eg. AVOPVR-021, and AVOPVR-009 is not great from what little I have seen). I'm just glad that we get a chance to see this outside of DMM so we can use our own players native to our own VR platform. I did say, I can buy it on DMM as a last resort, if I have to with my own money.
d) When I say AVOPVR-009 is crap, I meant the encode was kinda blocky. I have not seen the video completely. I just sneak peeked it. I cant fully on the comment on the Harem content, its unique, and experimental, and pretty funny. I havent seen enough to tell if its arousing or not. Its very surreal, and not what I was expecting.
I actually used the word CRAP as a joke, because Maschi is always commenting on how bad JAV VR is. I was trying to mimic him. I dont share his view that all JAV is crap. I actually quite like it. There are benefits to both western uncensored and Japanese VR. They offer complimentary experiences. JAV has prettier girls and fantasy scenarios, and Western is uncensored.
The other point I was trying to get across is, not that JAV is crap, but the opposite... I was trying to show my excitement that the new Prestige Rui Hasegawa Takumi video is totally awesome!!! And by doing so, mimic Maschi again. You know when Maschi says a video is acceptable... then it meets a very high standard. Personally I'm kinda celebrating that these new, long minute, high quality JAV videos are putting all the old stuff to shame. Finally!
e) I was always surprised when torrents were posted on the old SLF scanlover forum, and members thought that the poster was the creator of the torrent. I'm not sure if you are trying to create the impression that AVOPVR-009 was yours Casshern. It was always my view that people in China were the ones 'stealing' and making it available on the internet, from DMM, and that everyone else is just sharing what they know of how to get it.
f) Even though I dont share my Afesta files myself, its not because I'm a selfish hoarder. Its because I'm a noob and dont know how. I work a regular job and dont have any desire to be sharing files directly. I have no problems if you want me to transfer the file to you privately and you make it available for internet wide sharing. Just drop me a PM and tell me how, because I have never uploaded files to these sharing sites. My only reserve is I actually want people to support Afesta by buying stuff and using their service. I dont want Afesta or the JAV makers to sell 1 copy and have it pirated everywhere day 1. I want to reward companies that do VR right with no-DRM and seek to support multiple platforms, and provide high quality.
g) Lastly, I have to say I appreciate the efforts of all posters in this thread sharing their thoughts and views, pointing us to torrents, VR sites, and sharing files. You Casshern are AWESOME, you go out of your way to help everyone asking for files, provide links that can be accessed for free (no premium on the subyshare), you have shared links you have for DMM exclusive files that are hard to come by, and as far as I know, even shared your own personal files from Afesta. Even though I'm a bit disappointed in AVOPVR-009, quality-wise, that takes nothing away with the fact that you are AWESOME for providing the chance for us to experience it. I know it can be disappointing seeing all your hard work, again pirated all over the internet but I have nothing to do with what the internet does.
So Casshern, you can go ahead and hate me. It would make me sad, because I thought we were friends. Also I can stop with the news and go back to being a lurker. Most of it is available if you look closely. I just post when I come across some actress or Studio that does something interesting, because I'm so happy.
BUT...I still like it for what it is. FUN
