Nice. I dunno about Orchestral stuff too much, but I am a pretty big fan of Game Music, and Remixes. A particularly good group to check out are The OneUps. I have all of their albums, and you can check them out on MySpace I think...

Yep

It's mainly Jazz now, but they used to do all kinds of different songs.

Sorry if that's too off-topic, just thought I'd share.

No, completely on-topic. I said "orchestral," but what I was trying to suggest was "remixes or reperformances requiring the use of 3 or more instruments." In the case of the Chant of Aran, the 3+ instruments are all vocal. In the case of the Wind Waker segment, the 3+ instruments are the voices, the pan flute, the accordion, etc. So yes. Remixes definitely are fair game, so long as they're really artsy and not just boring ol' remixes.

In fact, one of my favorite gamer remixes of all time is the "Gift from Moscow" Tetris remix. As a hardcore NES and GameBoy (original) Tetris enthusiast, I memorized those three songs at a fairly early age. I also love the Russian-flavored instrumentation that this remixer uses. It's just so, so good. :)
