Well, my 'first' post on the forum (actually asked a question yesterday but it seems to have been deleted somehow) so here we go: Matsumoto Marina !! :)

She's probably not the best looking performer on the market, but she has one very important quality (in my book) : she looks like she's really enjoying being on a set.
Wakabayashi Miho, for example, is really gorgeous. But, way too often to my taste, looks like she'd rather be back home watching TV than on a set -- or be on a stage, she's actually really good doing strip shows.

Marina, on the other hand, looks like she's really into what she's doing. Lots of energy and... well... either she's super good at faking it and deserves an acting award, or she's really totally coming hard in almost each scene she's in. I mean, she's wild.

On a different level, I also enjoy Orihara Yukari. Not on the wild side compared to Marina, but she still seems to have a nice personality.

Too bad Marina seems to have no online presence, no blog, twitter or instagram. Compared to other AV actresses she's like a ghost.
Did she retire again?

I guess to make it look more authentic and genuine. The story line is similar. He meets a lonely unsatsified housewife or OL for a meal then go some posh hotel to have some fun. Almost every milf starts off nervous super shy but all hell broke loose after couple of light kissing on ear lobs LOL

By the way is there an app that can translate for me on the fly as I watch. Using iphone to receive the dialogue and showing me in english? I tried with google translate and it doesn't work when I switch to Mic mode.

I'm a total beginner on translation software. Maybe there is some voice recognition program that can do it? Might want to look into that.

I'm sure I've got a couple videos with this actress but you know how it is when you're building your collection. You get a video that looks pretty good, once downloaded you check it to make sure the sound and video works but you're busy with real life that week and never revisit that video again. You have your favorite actresses or series that you go to over and over (where are you, "A World With Extremely Low Hurdles to Sex" series? I miss you!) and some incredible stuff falls by the wayside. Maki Tomoda sounds familiar though so I'm sure I've got something with her name in the title.

As you said, either a great actress or a woman who really enjoys sex. I think for me, that is one of the draws for the mature category. Unlike the younger actresses, in the roles they play(usually the old man is not putting out), they really want sex and are hungry for it. Besides, they generally look like women you could actually approach- older women you see on the street. To me, that makes it more exciting to watch. They generally have not had it in so long, they go crazy for cock.

Miho is an acquired taste. Even in non-porn flicks she almost looks like a wax doll. Heck, even her blog or Facebook everyday photos sometimes look devoid of any expression.

Marina is someone I recently discovered and I'm catching up on her filmography. I mean, as much as I can find on free JAV sites online.
I watched OBA-058 yesterday. Great performances by both Marina and Kitahara Natsumi.
As you said, some older women seem to be way more genuine. Too bad the video is censored. Damn' mosaic o_O

Welcome aboard, Takahashi. Canada! Anyway, spot on, sir! I actually like the way Marina looks. Seems approachable, more down to earth. Miho Wakabayashi while not the best performer, is so fine I actually keep some of her videos around. Her fine ass booty & sexy lips. Sometimes just seeing her is enough to take me there. Really depends on the day. In the end though, I always prefer a good performer over someone who's really beautiful but isn't that into it.
