Are these only for Alice japan studio? Or would you know if other studios have the same thing
Other studios do variants of their covers which are hard to find in high quality. But full photo books like Alice I'm not sure yet.

First post here so forgive any mistakes I may make. Man I’ve been looking for a place to discuss r*** JAV for a while now. Skimming this thread I’ve seen a lot of similar favs I've enjoyed over the years.
There's 7 qualities I often look for in r*** JAV and it may just be me but I’m always looking for most of them together.
There's the most objective qualities in the plot and structure of the actual JAV itself. Plot is self explanatory, is it a compelling scenario that lends to r*** well with competent enough writing. Structure is the actual direction of the film and the way sex acts are played out. As an example, a badly structured JAV is one that is too repetitive, the film is filled with cowgirl scenes when it could've used some doggy.
The most important qualities when it comes to r*** JAV in particular are the acting and performance of the actors. The acting quality of the actress convincing portraying being r***ing usually makes or breaks the film. Performance meaning how good the actress is at actually having sex, while might not seem as important compared to non r*** titles, is still something I look for. Obviously they are not meant to “enjoy” themselves during a scene but there have been sometimes where I was taken out of the scene. Sometimes it's them laughing during the sex (this could be considered to be part of the acting) or not putting up a convincing struggle to stop their r***, almost as if the actress wants to have sex. Underneath all the acting and performing I still do want to get the vibe the actress is enjoying herself, just without it taking me out of the moment if that makes sense.
This leaves the most subjective qualities, the actress herself. Face, body and boobs/butt. It's up to the individual what is considered to be “quality” when it comes to these. I don't often care for most black haired or mature actresses, mostly preferring brunettes or younger actresses. An actress’s body is perfect for me when they're just slightly thick but not too much that they are considered chubby. They could have the best natural boobs ever but if they're too skinny for me I look elsewhere. I'm a big boob man myself but for someone else they might only care about their butt or prefer small boobs.
When searching for r*** JAV I usually do so from finding an actress I like the look of first and then looking for other qualities in their films, if they even have any r*** films. Usually if the plot is good then the structure suffers or the actress performs well but is godawful at acting and vice versa for both. It's hard to find both the JAV and the actress to be good and if they do it's the other that suffers.
Even my favorite two r*** JAVs suffer in some ways. SHKD-446 is one of them but that's mostly because it stars one of my favorite looking actresses, Nishina Momoka. While not the #1 on the acting side she still is able to convincing portray being r***ing to make her one of my favorites. The story is very simple, blackmailed into r*** in exchange for helping her dad/grandfather? First r*** scene is really well done though I strangely much prefer the I guess you call it an intermediate scene that happens before the next big scene. After being r***ing and the trauma that comes from that followed by a some time later transition to her being r***ing again is just incredibly hot to me. It's similar hentai where in-between the main girls being r***ing, there's a scene with a bunch of no names girls being r***ing. As an example Kuroinu has a scene where a bunch of the nuns are r***ing. Unfortunately these scenes are always too short but the casual nature of what is an extremely dark event brings it up for me, though obviously I still enjoy the main event more. Where SHKD-446 falls short for me is the entire second half of the film. For one I don't care for Japanese swimsuits, it just doesn't do it for me. Then I don't care for the hairstyle they give Momoka, I've never really liked twin ponytail looks in any Japanese media. More than anything I feel the title “Brutal G******g” was a lie. Maybe it comes from the enjoyment of written erotica and Hentai and the freedom it has but I'm always let down by gangbang scenes in JAV. They never feel brutal enough, especially in r*** films which feel wrong. Tons of double penetration but it's always penis and pussy spitroasting and never any anal play. If there is anal it's always way too extreme and fetishy and not at all to my liking. I prefer more vanilla and tame JAV and am turned off by stuff like vomiting and excessive torture. It seems like JAV is split between more tame stuff and thr ultra hardcore stuff with anal only ever found in the latter. I kinda understand it as not every performer wants to do anal and it's not as easy as in Hentai or written erotica to have a scene where someone is filled in each hole. Nevertheless I'm always looking for more in gangbang scenes without it coming from the more extreme examples.
STARS-248 is my other favorite and it's entirely because of how much I love the story set up alongside the incredible acting. Ogura Yuna while incredibly attractive in her own right, isn't entirely my type when it comes to her body but everything about how she acts in the film makes me overlook my grievances there. If I'm being overly critical a few times she's a little too smiley/laughy in her performance but her acting is top notch so I can overlook it. It also can't be overstated the male lead’s performance either. It's something no one else really thinks about but he sells his role of a pathetic loser. I'm someone who really likes villainizing the r**ist as much as possible. If it's a bitchy woman who bullied the guy when they were kids and so she gets r***ing as a competence it isn't as needed but I still like them to be portrayed in a villainous way and be clearly the one in the most wrong because obviously r*** isn't a good thing. It's probably a common complaint but the males are never given as big of a focus, as JAV is a very female dominated market, even if it would improve the overall quality. The first r*** scene does everything the first scene needs to be, the reluctance and torment from Yuna, the pathetic male lead getting what he wants, all delivered in a well shot scene. Even though it takes roughly almost an hour to get to the first sex scene the build up is delivered well for it to be well worth the wait. The film loses me a little for the next scene, incest feels out of left field and is just not a genre I ever search for, but the finale scene makes up for the lackluster middle scene. Yuna is just so good at portraying a broken victim in the bathroom sex scene, as the male tries to force a reaction out of her but she is just so done.
I would love it if an actress such as Nishina Momoka was cast in a JAV like STARS-248 because her best is still SHKD-446. Also not many JAV are up to the quality as seen in STARS-248, STARS-322, the other in the same series, even though it's from the same director it just isn't as good and doesn't hit the same quality for me because Honjou Suzu isn't my type and I don't believe she is that good at acting like she's being r***ing. It has a gangbang scene which I wish the other had.
