Hi Every one
Is there a way of editing the words in a SRT?
That is deleting or changing words or entire sentences.
If yes do I need any special software etc?

SRT files can be opened in Notepad. Just open it, find and replace what you want to replace, like wrong words or profanity (I've had to do that one time) and save it back as the SRT file. That is, if you truly mean just deleting or changing a few words or sentences.

They're basically text files so if you want to change a few words you could do it with a simple text editor. However, if you're going to remove entire lines you might want something especially made for it so you can do things like renumber the lines.

I've found to remove entire lines without replacing them, just delete the sentence. Not the time markers. Marker 210 just delete the words underneath.
