Hello. I plan on picking up over 2000 dvd cases for free. I have a ton of burnt dvds and blu ray discs, which is why I'm picking up the cases to beautify how my collection looks on a shelf. I want to print out custom case covers, but most of my discs have more than one video on them. How would you recommend I plan this out? This is also for Youtube, Movies, Tv, etc. Most discs have more than 1 yt channel, more than 1 movie, more than 1 tv show (some with just a couple episodes), and plenty of western porn as well as JAV, with little to no organization. How should I lay out the cover designs? Does anybody have any experience with anything similar?

Get Photoshop and/or Gimp or other free platform, and create your own covers, with your own unique style, if never used before, it will be slow at first, but skills develop

Thank you! Do you recommend the spines be multi-colored depending on the category (such as TV Shows, Movies, Western Porn, JAV/JI, etc.)? Also, what type of paper would work best? Would standard copy paper work (in colour), or would I need a more glossy look? I am trying to do this as cheaply as possible for the best result!

spines can be your choice, if you have the time and skill, can set say 10 up as a theme, and when sitting altogether, it looks good, and keeps with the theme of the set, (never done that myself)

what I would use is photo paper, if going cheap, there are some very thin cheap ones, there are many cheap ones out there as not many want do not want thin photo paper, you will have to adjust your printer settings as well

all is time consuming

Thank you for the advice! I will take this into consideration when creating covers and printing them. I have a few different types of paper currently, so I plan on printing out some sample covers (that would get used if they work right) to see how I like each one. I will know more once I get the cases in 7 hours. I will try and update after that.
