You're always welcome to post specific samples :)D) of videos, but I'd like this thread to provide ongoing source of information for those of us who like gravure that gets pushed up to the edge of being AV. I would be happy if this became an ongoing resource as this sub-genre develops. But there are probably instances in the past of this that some akiba porn historian can educate us on.

I recently discovered the "See Through" series (SEE-000d) by the Reifuru studio. Their latest release at the time of this posting was a best of, SEE-023d [https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/see-023d-see-through-the-best.1288881/]. SEE-012 and -018 are examples I've seen. If you find a more extensive vidcap sheet than is currently posted at akiba-online you'll figure it out.

The ones I've seen from this series include some BDSM, dildo work, and either fake sex or real sex with a hand obscuring the point of penetration. I especially appreciated that the ones I saw were edited so that there was a progression from basic gravure posing at the beginning, to nudity, to near-AV activity at the end. They also seemed to have been shot using more AV camera angles rather than IV angles, if that makes sense. It just changes the atmosphere.

Do you know if there are directors, labels (like SEE), or series which consistently or even usually put their gravure models into near-AV situations?

[note: I plan to post a similar thread in the JAV Discussion area asking about videos that begin as gravure and end totally in AV territory.]

A special thank you to supmop for recommending the Miman MMND series. These certainly take IV just up to the AV line and use a variety of actresses, some well known later in their careers.
