Converting Giga or Zen vids for sharing...

Hello-

This maybe has been asked before, but how does one convert bought Giga or Zen Pictures videos for sharing here on Akiba Online? uzzled:

Once I get the time, I would like to share some Junior Heroine vids....and eventually some Giga vids.

If someone can lead me in the right direction, that'll be great....:tea:

It depends on what format the videos are in.

If they are on DVD, use the excellent meguIV to convert them to MP4:

If they are downloaded content (typically WMV files), you will need to check if they are DRM protected. Try opening the WMV files in a 3rd party player, such as Media Player Classic or VLC. If they play without problems, you can upload the files as-is without reconverting anything (although if you prefer, you can also convert them to MP4 with meguIV as well).

If they don't play (ie: they only play in Windows Media Player), then they are DRM protected and cannot be shared. It is possible to remove DRM protection, but the process is very long and difficult.
