it seems funny that on windows, you'd need a separate program to do something so simple. on linux, without installing anything, i would just type in

$ cat avi.001 avi.002 avi.003 ... avi.008 > complete-file.avi

for any part with dead RS/MU link, I suggest you don't upload with the same file name & file size.

it's because RS or MU server guys when they're deleting the download links, they will also add those files names + file sizes to their black list. And thus, whenever any new files name uploading to their servers: if the file names + file sizes match with the ones in their blacklist dictionary, then those new files will automatically be deleted.
