Is there any way to get access to stream movies from dmm.co.jp if you live outside japan because it won't let me sign up? I know there is an english version but they don't have the movies I want. I really want to be able to get movies from this studio

http://www.dmm.co.jp/digital/videoa/-/list/=/article=maker/id=4808/

but I can't from dmm or the studio direct it's very frustrating. I don't know if it's been done before or if any one is trustworthy enough to do it but I'm so keen to get these movies I would send someone in japan money so they could get them for me is such an idea possible? :pandalaugh:

I suppose the other question I should of asked does anyone know where I can buy them outside of japan.:please:

To access sites outside of countries you'll need to use proxies. You can learn more about them elsewhere. As for buying them outside of Japan there is no place that I know of. It's best just to request what your after in the request section or ask if someones able to purchase them for you.
Something to keep in mind. Streaming titles from DMM have DRM. The person getting them needs to be able to un-DRM them for you.

I took desioner's advice and found a japanese proxy however I'm having trouble signing up to dmm because I'm not sure what information to input to the form as the picture shows. Is there someone on this board who reads japanese and would take the time to help me to go through the sign up. If I'm succesful and can download the movies I would pay them back by getting them a movie of their choice.

By google translation the second box is asking for a nickname but it doesn't recognise anything I input. I'm frustatingly close to getting in I can feel it.

^ It's asking for the furigana, which are the little hiragana characters sometimes written over a Kanji, to tell how it is pronounced.

Hence, they want to know how to say your name, and that field will require inputing some japanese hiragana.

It doesn't have to be really accurate, but you need that to complete the sign up.

Thanks Happosai I feared that was the case. It doesn't let you cut and paste in japanese characters for some reason. Do you ever feel karma is against you?

I thought DMM.co.jp also requires you to sign up using a Japanese credit card.

But I may be confusing it with a different site.

Don't know about signing up, but you need one to buy from DMM.co.jp

Well, the sign up page does ask for credit card information.

And you'd still need a credit card in order to buy the streaming content.

It appears to accept my credit card I just can't get past the furigana part. I've worked out how to change to what is supposedly hiragana and typed my name えヴぁんs あぅん or other random stuff and yet it's still not working. Why is japan the only country that seems determined to restrict it's porn to 99% of the world population it's not like it's illegal where I am?

Hopefully I can work it out with Desioner or another japanese member to send money to download the movies for me. It would be nice though to be able to buy movies when I wanted and be able to contribute some new content.

Rant over does anyone know why what I typed in hiragana would not be accepted?

Well if the credit card isn't giving you any problems, this is what you should do for the name:

The first line must be in kanji or full-width kana.
The second line must be in hiragana.

For instance, "John Smith" would be スミス ジョン or SMITH JOHN in the first line and すみす じょん in the second line.

If you have trouble writing full-width kana or hiragana, I can help write it for you.

As for copying and pasting into the DMM form, keyboard shortcuts are disabled, but you should still be able to right-click -> paste.

Thanks a alot for trying to help guy. I've included a screen shot of what I typed in what I think is full-width kana and hiragana but the second box is still denying me I don't get it.

And no you can't right click past or use keyboard shortcuts which is frustating.

You cannot have the S or N in your name. Type SU or ZU to get す/ス or ず/ズ, and NN to get ん/ン. I think it will also have trouble recognizing "VA" (ヴぁ) as a proper input, so I would recommend switching it to "BA". Your final input should look like:
エバンズ アゥン
えばんず あぅん

Also, for your first name, I think you might mean to put in アルン/あるん or アラン/あらん. When you write "LU", it gets translated to ゥ/ぅ which is a different sound. It shouldn't matter, however.

I'm also using Firefox and have no trouble with right-clicking, though I'm using a script that disables webpages from disabling right-clicking.

That did the trick thanks guy. Sadly it then turned out you were correct and you need a japanese credit card to register after all sorry to waste your time:exhausted: Still on the bright side I learnt something about the japanese language.

I'm really keen to get the movies from this studio and others so hopefully my other plan of finding an honest person in japan who I can send money to so they buy and share the movies for me or I can trade for any movies on the http://en.dmm.co.jp or cinemagic. If there is anyone willing or interested to do that pm and we can get the ball rolling.

You could always pay one of us to use our credit card and help you....

For a 'modest' fee.

Discovered that should I hand over the subscription to you, you would have access to my credit card. Looks like I have a month worth of subscription that I won't be using. Sorry bud.
