what are dat files used for in utorrent?

For example "~uTorrentPartFile_6B6000F5.dat "

If I don't have the original movie or torrent, can this be used to DL?

So I've deleted the orginal torrent file for many vids..now I'd like to repost them here.

The only way I know how to recreate them is by deleting them from utorrent.....then the original torrent file shows up in the garbage bin....

but then I can't reseed them..because it deletes the vid too....and for old vids there are no active sources

So what should i do?...assuming people want old torrents... like HEYZO 0106 FHD version which was out like 4 years ago

i mean this thing

I got this torrent file by deleting the torrent and data from my utorrent list

but if you click on it..there are no or hardly any seeders left

so I can't reseed this vid and share with others this nice 720p no watermark vid

The torrent file is saved somewhere in its setting folder, I'm guessing in %AppData%\uTorrent (paste that in windows explorer address bar) and then just look for the torrent name in a subfolder.

Alternatively, I'm assuming there's a setting to not delete the actual content when you delete the torrent from the list or you can make a copy of the files before deleting the torrent so you can reseed it afterwards.

I don't use utorrent anymore so not sure exactly how it acts these days.
