I'd like to share a tip I found: For me, DirectShowSource was crashing with VirtualDub and AviSynth+MT. DSS2 works fine and it seems a bit faster. I know that it might not be too usefull for DVD material, but for deinterlacing and re-encoding WMV material it helps.
