we are experiencing some strange behaviour the last day.
seems like someone is hammering requests to us...
resulting in some failsave actions, that sometimes let's the site hang :/
(see the spikes till nearly zero)
That should not happen, but i'm not sure how to mitigate such requests hammering - especially since it's not from one IP

additionally ... sometime in the near future (some month) we have to change the server again - since we are using more and more storage; and i need to consolidate a few things to save money (running akiba isn't cheap - ask chompy, he's responsible for the money.
