DVD and Bluray are same quality as download version or better for the old ones. ABV HD videos are only streaming and copy protected. It's possible to "screen capture" them but to get good resolution and no frames drop (jitter) you need to be in Japan else the connection isn't good enough. (There is no buffering with the kind of copy protection they use)
