JAV is a commercial industry; they are out to make money, not to appease social justice warriors or black men.
Those who buy JAV are almost all Japanese men and they are, generally, not turned on by Japanese girls with good looking black men.
Instead they want to see the girls "defiled"(by their own standards) and humiliated.
If black men, one day, win science Nobel prizes and are noted for high intelligence, the number of black men in JAV will be reduced to that of white men.
Ah yes, the old: "Black men are only used to humilate Japanese women". Truth is Black men are used for a variety of reasons. If it was all about humiliation IR NTR wouldn't be such a thing. Those often make Japanese men look bad. Also there's only like 5 black actors in the whole industry so of course they're going to use the fat guys.
Actually it is in the similar vein as dogfart production which is widely acknowledged as racist.

They make the same type of movies with Japanese actors as they do black actors. And they've made those same type of movies with white actors as well in the past. So when they made this movie with a white actor, was that meant to humiliate the actresses?

You're making a lot of presumptions as a non-Japanese person and moving the goalposts. Porn is a fetish after all and inherently degenerate no matter who is involved. Also Japan is pretty xenophobic and doesn't really regard foreigners highly in general(even other non-Japanese Asians). My stance is that people watch porn for various reasons. Are there Japanese people who see it as a humiliation ritual? Absolutely. Some like the color contrast (this is bigger than people realize). Some are cucks and like to envision themselves as black (IR VR porn). But anytime a guy comes in and proclaims a blanket statement like "this is why Japan does X" it always comes off as thinly veiled projection weebism.
I don't really see a need to respond to a couple of butt hurt social justice warriors sqawking in pain but outright lies should be still corrected.

Make a comparison with the US porn industry is a bit tricky, and maybe a bit unfair. We are comparing a country were people of color can be up to 40% of the given population in a certain area, with probably one of the most ethnically homogeneous country in the world.
So while I can agree with a representation problem in the US, it becomes a bit tricky to apply the same standard when speaking of a country with a completely different story and population.
You should also consider that a country like Japan, but also others, are completely cut out from the actual US conversation on race related issues, due to language barriers. So we can probably cut some slack to the JAV industry on that.
Regarding the choice of Black Talents, It is not that the pool of Male Talent in the US is much bigger, if you look closely you notice that the majority of the male talent has been more or less the same for the last 10 years with a few talent replacing the spot left open by the one retired (It is a hard and bad paid job at the end of the day). For the reasons described above I would guess that find new talents from African or European descent is not that easy in Japan, considering also how difficult is to migrate to Japan, the ridiculous limited number of second or third generation Japanese with a European or African descent pool of potential actor. I can also imagine that for foreign talent is not that easy to fly over and work there on any sort of Visa, and probably not economically sustainable.
