Hi guys n gals, is it me, or has there been a shift in JAV to really embrace the 180/SBS side by side format used by the majority of the western VR. I mean, I'm looking at a lot of the videos that have been released in the last week or 2, and a lot of them have dropped that 360/TB/Top-Bottom that has been the hallmark of lower quality JAV. I'm talking that wasted Black spacing on the sides, which I refer to as the VOID.
Anyways, i think more JAV studios are dropping that TopBottom 360 30fps format, and going 180 sidebyside and going with 60fps. Its good to see.
I recently watched a WankzVR release (Trying on Trillium), and the picture quality of their new rig is stellar. The girls skin colour and sharpness was up a notch. The sweat on her skin looks really good, and sells that steamy sex session. Also the water droplets on her face with all that detail is nice. Really good to see the visual improvement.
I was watching that recent JAV VR video by SOD with
Hachino Tsubasa.
3DSVR-253. What a great video. It was long,
almost 3 hours!!. Tsubasa is really cute. She's one of the few girls that I find attractive and want to be with in VR. The video has this voyeuristic feel, since its not all POV. You bob your head above water and then go below and look at the girls body underwater. Its very unrushed and natural. It was very much like a date. There's other people there in the pool and you are taking off her bathing suit and playing with her in secret. One of the best parts of the video is the camera does a lot of extreme close ups. I wish more of VR has these "being about 3 inch close" intimacy moments.
However, the video quality is pretty shit. If it had something like that WankzVR rig, in colour reproduction and sharpness, I would swear off needing real women for the rest of my life. LOL.
This is one of those ground breaking videos that make you think about what the future in VR will be. Interesting direction, interesting concept. Original video. Great looking girl. I may have a different perspective than some others, because I can understand Japanese and I like the talking bits. If you have zero japanese language skills, this could be really boring. Its kind of a slow burn video. Since the runtime is so long, it makes me forget all those VR videos, where its 2 minutes felatio/switch/2 minutes cowgirl/switch/1 minute doggy/switch/1 minute missionary/switch/1 minute missionary a bit father away/switch.... you get what i mean. VR can be a bit too formulaic.
Did you see the Aki Sasaki VR video from WAAP (WPVR059), where the entire video was you in missionary position, just staring down at her face, while you fuck her? It was 23 minutes long. It was an experience. Very different and experimental. I'm beginning to see why people like the missionary position in VR videos now.
I think for me, my most favourite VR parts are the close up face time, close up boobs in your face, seated cowgirl, and now missionary position. My least favourite VR parts are the blow job scenes because they are too far away, and I'm beginning to hate Harem movies because its too noisy/busy. Multiple couples is okay, but the one guy with 4 or more girls is just too much.
