Good eh? Only it's just a teaser for the "R" version which Japanese cable viewers (I guess...) can watch on pay-per-view.

Has anyone seen these "R" vid with AV or gravue idols doing sexy games or skids?
 
My issues with Shoko is she choose the wrong company to go to, she's too Vanilla for Moodyz her going to S1S1 would've been perfect for her, Her, Yua, and Rion would just easily dominate things, but at Moodyz she just fades into the background, heck she could've also gone to idea pocket and been the face of them, but at Moodyz she's just a girl there, maybe she wants that?
 
Interesting. She claims she lost her virginity to a new boyfriend she barely knew in winter of the year her parents file for divorce at the age of 16. We have no way to verify her claim, of course and it may just be the way her persona is written for dramatic effect.

Well I care, in my opinion I don't like her performance with Moodyz because she's a Vanilla performer

I think it's not ideal each studio gets too silo-ed. S1 shouldn't be full of hot-but-boring porcelain dolls and Moodyz only busty A-class (not S-) idols. Idea Pocket, goosh they are still around aren't they?

As for her interviews... so happened that I watched her Chinese-subbed interview last night. Well problem is every idol (not just
AV) has a full set of pre-packaged answers for pre-packaged questions. So you have to doubt how true is any of her answers, even the most simple mundane questions. Anyway... IMHO just assume every one of Shokotas' answers to be committee-approved.

Of the current Moodyz girls, the only one I consider a vanilla performer is Shoko, I don't think JULIA is vanilla, she's just robotic, and it's hard to teach robots human emotions :)

I'm just a fan of the right fit for girls so we can get the best potential from them, sure she's financially getting what she wants(Hokuto does own Idea pocket, Moodyz and S1 so she'd probably get what she wanted financially no matter what) I want maximum potential, not going through the motions
 
Porn, as a whole, is subjective from person to person. The only inference we can gauage for success is the overall sales from the releases.

Speaking of potential, Mikami explored almost everything possible on the soft tame side of AV in her first 2 years and her sales have slipped.

Meanwhile, Shoko hold herself back and open up little by little to see her titles soar. It could be that she or her managment know her limits from where she come from (a bit of a bimbo with just looks and no other talents), so they are in for a long haul.

Yua Mikami is the undisputed face of S1S1 which is debatable the top Jav company, sure her sales may have slipped but there's no disputing that she's 2 years in already a top star in the industry. I don't think Shoko holds herself back, this is just her and I also don't think Shoko has gone all in on Jav(her music is her main focus) like how Yua went all in. I'm invested in Shoko because of her potential, I just think it's being squandered with the Moodyz style, for someone with star potential, if you're going to hold yourself back and build up then you do it at an S1 or idea pocket then after you've established yourself you go to a Moodyz/SOD, but that's just me. I do think if Shoko went to S1 she'd be waaay above Yua, and not in her shadow
 
You might be aware that both S1 and Moodyz are owned by same parent company, Hokuto (CA) Corp. So there could be a bit of internal politics at play. Notice how everything are evenly spread out ? Matsuda Miko goes to S1, Sakura Moko goes to Kawaii and Moodyz get Nakamura Miu.
 
^I did say (Hokuto does own Idea pocket, Moodyz and S1 so she'd probably get what she wanted financially no matter what) and yeah probably right, for balance I guess
 
How the agency and girl want to manage their career could also play a part at which studio.

Mikami seem to be treating porn as a stepping stone, evident of her hopping from place to place, she's even coming to the states this year. So that could explain why she's choose the fast track that garners attention.
 
Harmony “和” is practically a name Japan gave themselves. A big part of it means don't stick your head out too much. It's all balance and harmony. Which means hotties like Rion, Yua, Shoko, Julia can't be allowed to fully explore their potentials. Room must be shared with the A-, B-, C-, D-.... rank performers too. Also I think the same idea keep them from more cooperations, I think both are quite willing to work with each other, but once both are individually established, the power that be would insist that each only perform (both AV and non-AV works) mostly in solo.

BTW, what's this "her music is her main focus"?? I have finally seen a bit of her playing a electric guitar. Yeah, she's a decent hobbist, but a performer? That level of playing, won't even get her in front of the judges on "America got Talent" or "Britain got talent". The uploader titled the vid with something like "(right) tit resting beautifully on guitar", I fully agree! Only in Japan (harmony!) she won't get booed off the stage.

Oddly I still have not seen Yua perform other than a one vid with her at karaoke game. If anything Yua is far more credible as a music careerist than Shoko.

Also what's this Yua "hopping from place to place"? She and Shoko both steady and raking the money in in their respective studios. I don't get it.

Ohh those. All those (e.g. "hentai/fest") work is porn-deprived, she won't keep getting those jobs unless she stays top in AV. If she puts out a single CD or opens a restaurant or something, that would count as "things beyond porn". Within foreseeable future she has no other viable career than porn. She seems smart enough, I think she will milk this AV for as long as the customer base supports her, and then when her AV earning power really hits the skids (a few years from now) she will have enough cash to transition to another life, like buys and runs a cafe or a bar. But I don't think it will be any kind of big and idol-like thing. More like she owns a tiny little cafe and still have to work several hours a day and except a few regular customers and friends no one know that's The Yua Mikami cafe. Kind of like Ai Uehara now, every once a few months, a fan or two would ask "where's Yua Mikami now?" and no one knows the answer.

Right now I can't name anyone from JAV who's comparable to Shu Qi or Pamela Anderson or Jenna Jameson: a mainstream celeb career that still viable after a break from adult entertainment. Maria Ozawa doesn't count because most JAV idols would not want a career based in Philippines or anywhere not Japan or USA. I knew maybe one or two... who made some appearances on TV shows, but I highly doubt those shows pays her enough.

I think Shoko knows it too, once she stops doing porn, there won't be enough entertainment (live concerts!?) jobs to support even a modest lifestyle. So either a rich husband, or buy and work a small business, or become a hostess.

Yes.

And indeed you posted the full band playing the full song. Watching and listening to both vids help to evaluate her music potential.

But first I must say I am half tone deaf, so I don't think anyone should take what I say about music too seriously.

But I am still allowed an opinion, don't I? That band HöLDERLINS, well they are good for what they are now, a garage band. They are good enough to book a few gigs a month maybe. Probably earn enough money to cover expense (maybe not). Right now I would not believe they can call it a career. But who knows one day they could break out, may be picked up by a good producer. At least Anri's (English!) vocal doesn't make me dunk my head in cold water, and they don't put the only hot girl in the band Shoko in bikinis (see below).

Even if they break out, it's hard to foresee future direction for the band and Shoko's role. That MV doesn't feature guitar solo (or any solo) so you go back to the twitter vid to hear the guitar part, and it's only decent. Again... I'd call it a serious hobby, but a potential career move? But Shoko's hot and she can put it all out. If the band breaks out, would there be commercial pressure to exploit Shoko's body?

Anyway... the best scenario might be exactly the status quo. Shoko keep doing her top idol role in AV, put out one (vanilla) porn a month, which takes care of life expense, investment (financial wisdom) and give her plenty of money leftover and perhaps 15 days free time per month to pursue her hobby. She and the band can keep playing these small garage concerts without dealing with the pressures and complications of professional bands.

How interesting Unicorn (ユニコーン) happy to exploit her sexy body but HöLDERLINS wouldn't. I think that shows integrity and smarts.

Thinks for the discussion. This thread made me a even bigger fan of Shoko. I love that she's a whore-slut in AV, a bimbo in comedy and MV, and a musician in garage band.

Seems that forum is for posting pix, this forum is for discussion. I don't know... seems that's how it's used. Over the past 30 days, only 5 threads (idols) got 1 or more posts.
