The eruption of the volcano Ontake in Japan
causes one dead and over 30 seriously injured.
The second highest volcano in Japan
( 3,067 meters tall ) ( 10,062.34 ft ) about
a hundred kilometers from the city of Nagoya
has begun to expel smoke and ash.
The fire department Kiso, in the province of Nagoya
confirmed the death of a woman was found by services
doctors at the top, while some 30 were injured gravity
after having been buried under the ashes.
Smoke rises from Mount Ontake, which straddles
Nagano and Gifu prefectures September 27, 2014.
In addition, until 21:00 PM local time, about 70 people
had to medical treatment in hospitals in the
provinces of Gifu and Nagado.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency predicts more
eruptions occur which could affect the nearby residents
and in particular warned on the fall of volcanic ash within
4 kilometers ( 2.4 Miles ), around the volcano, though
so far not considered necessary evacuation from
nearby locations.
However, the authorities have closed access to the
routes through the mountain and evacuated about
230 walkers according to public broadcaster NHK.
It was inactive until 1979, but then, it underwent
a series of eruptions.
The latest was in 2007.
