Some of the comments above got me thinking about whose name was missing that (I thought) would be deserving of the top spot and one name came to me that might be justified… or it might be just me, since nobody mentioned her, not even the article.

She was something else… and after I went back to some of her videos I can confidently say that she still is something else. She was a massive hit with me back in the days and I got the impression that that was the case with a lot of people, but people don't seem to talk about her anymore. But like M1N0RA said, it's a pretty subjective topic.

My all-time favourite... if you want to exchange collections of her movie, I would happy to do that, I'm looking for her DVD ISO.

Riko's career was too short and her name doesn't pop up in R18/Fanza popular actress rankings. Sora Aoi's career was short too, however, she remains popular (social media help I guess).

there's 7,7,7,7,7 actresses (tsubomi, sora, shuri, and big tit women) that have mass appeal because of this safe balance. Then there's special actresses like yunna that are 10,6,10,4,10 actresses who are better overall but don't have the correct balance to appeal to the largest number of people. for example, yuuna's 6 and 4 scores could be a deal breaker for most AV fans, and not matter to someone like me. I would actually argue that most of your qualifications are negatives. if we're only talking about who is the most famous, then go look at sales numbers and if you're a fan of one of the actresses on those lists, then go ahead and bask in the glory of being one of many fans of them. What i'm talking about is who is actually the best (greatest). Maybe it isnt Yuuna for everyone, but the one thing im sure of is that the most successful actresses aren't the best that have come along.

So on javlibrary, Tsubomi has 73 pages of vids versus Reiko S's 89. Yumi Kazama has more pages on javlibrary than Reiko Sawamura, probably more than anyone. Thank you for sharing. I just read her wiki story from the link you provided. Such a sad tale. Such a tragic demise. Perhaps if she sought out treatment for all those aliments she would be okay. A UTI(urinary tract infection), "Hay Fever, " leading to/adding up to pneumonia and death. People do not die of Hay Fever. Then, she is not found for seven days after her death. Was she lonely? She was missing for days before someone checked her apartment/condo. There is a story here.
