Where can I order JAV? (I reside in North America)

I was wondering where I can order some JAV.

I reside in both the US and Canada.

In addition, I was wondering if there was someone/some site
that takes requested JAVs and tries to find them in Japan
to ship over here.

Furthermore, I was hoping someone who can speak/write Japanese
to send an email to dmm.co.jp and find out if they have any thoughts
on making their service international.

BTW, if there is some kind of rule against asking/writing

Not that I know of.

Jlist act as any online store.

There's the obvious amazon.co.jp, which ships abroad and takes foreign cards, though whether they will ship pornography overseas I've never been 100% sure of.

If what you want is only on a site that, in the typically Japanese way, refuses business to foreigners, there are many "brokers" based in Japan who will purchase Japanese goods and then ship them to you for a commission rate. It's a pretty lucrative business, since there are so many hundreds of thousands of "Japanese fans" in the west...

Wasn't there somebody with a JAV website who used to have an ad on the site, maybe an earlier version of it anyway? I used his page once to get something from DMM but I don't remember what his site was called.

hmmm, maybe I should start a topic/post/thread on
recommendable "brokers" one can use.

Some of them seem to charge quite a good deal of
money/commission, and since the DVD/JAV itself
is around $30, plus the shipping... that's quite a lot
for one DVD...

Nonetheless, I'm willing to pay; just as little as possible

There is also AV Entertainments as well. As for DMM shipping internationally. It most likely will never happen. Both Amazon & Tower records will ship internationally as they were originally US companies that expanded to the Japanese market. Most if not all Japanese based companies are Japanese only.
Brokers do charge for the service they provide as anyone would expect. The charges range from broker to broker though. You might just be able to find one that is in your price range. Best of luck with that.

I shop from www.avhot.net all their single DVDs are only US$3.50 and the shipping in very affordable, I buy my beloved JAV movies from them and can't recommend them enough, they are great!

I think that uncensored JAVs are not as good as the censored ones, but that is just my two cents.

My tip: Find a cover that you like but don't have a clue what's about? Use: http://babelfish.yahoo.com/?fr=bf-home and having copied the blurb, paste it in and translate from Japanese to English, it's not perfect but at least you'll have a general idea of what the movie is about.

Hmmm, thanks for the suggestion.
I'm just scared about international shipping from a source I have
no knowledge of. Nonetheless, I might try them out if they have
the DVD/VCDs I'm looking for. (usually older harder to get ones)

Especially if you know any good brokers that would ship or rip stuff
from DMM retail or rental, and ship it or provide me another method

Not everyone has got US$40-45 dollars to spend on just one DVD as I saw them sold at JList, http://www.jlist.com/DVD/, they may be the original ones but so what, If I can get the same movie but cheaper elsewhere then I'll do that, specially during these hard economic times.
Also I have 56K dial-up, and even if I had broadband it is just too time consuming to download a movie (If I can even find it online) and then burn it and do this for all others I want, this way I just order what I want, it's not much I pay the equivalent of just AU$7 including the postage for each one.
It is safe as they use PayPal and it is registered post, I am writing this from my experience shopping with them, so far they haven't disappointed me and I am happy buying the latest JAVs from them.

The uncensored AVs are all produced in the U.S.A.; as I noted when I found an underground purveyor.

If you reside in North America, you are better off obtaining uncensored AVs from a North American purveyor.
