Some mosaiced pics cannot be undone. Some of them can (you can tell if the mosaiced part looks "inverted"). There were some tools for that, can't remember the name, but you'd need password with which the picture was mosaiced anyway.

there is a prog called G-mask. pretty easy to use and once you figure out howto use it you will be able to tell on which photos it will work with. some are set for a password but it can still be unmasked but its much more difficult ifyou do not know the pass.

most g-masked photos have the mask as a bunch of mixed up blocks

photoshop can also mask and unmask in many different ways

G-mask is in japanese version and english version
