Basically a one sided view, IMO. Distribution of Child Pornography is illegal in Japan. As a matter of fact pornography laws in Japan are more stringent than most European and North American countries. The fact that the Japanese government is seeking to protect the personal privacy of it citizens and this offends other countries that REFUSE to do the same for their citizens is what is at issue here.

Spinning any other light on this is just subterfuge.
